A fantastic inn. They catered brilliantly for 3 boys and were helpful with providing gluten free meals. Friendly service. Lovely spacious rooms. Would definitely recommend! We stayed 3 nights and the food was delicious (however the same menu each night). Half an hour from the observatory. Even though it was cloudy for our stay, the sessions at the observatory were...

Small friendly pub, good accommodation and breakfast. Evening meals rather plain. The locals are very friendly albeit a bit noisy which might not please everyone. Our room was above the restaurant which was quiet.

Stayed two nights at the Stargazer Apartment which is part of the Holly Bush Inn business. The apartment is beautifully furnished, very well equipped in an elevated position with panoramic views to enable you to star gaze or just drink in the rolling countryside surrounding the apartment. The setting is very quiet and a short walk to the Holly Bush...

We stayed in the Stargazing apartment which was amazing. Every window had a fabulous view furnished to a good standard bedding and towels of good quality and the deep bath was a welcome relief after a day walking/cycling around kielder forest/water. Breakfast was lovely and as were the evening meals we had in the cosy pub. The owner and all...

Generous hospitality, lovely room, great food and dark skies. Atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Location good for Keilder and other local attractions. Good advice given on best places to go and see.

My friend and I stayed here in a search of the northern lights unfortunately they weren't out but the view of the stars from the beer garden with a beer in hand and a lit fire pit with some locals making us feel more than welcome while they played some tunes, this wee place is a gem, we stayed in...

We stayed here for a couple of nights while exploring the Kielder area. The rooms are nice, well equipped and beds comfortable with good pillows. The dinner menu was quite varied, well cooked and nicely presented. Breakfast was 'full English' to set you up for the day's exploration.

It's ok but very expensive for the quality of food/accommodation. Food was nice enough but very very expensive for what it was as was the room. Room also very very noisy. Wouldn't rush back. If it hasn't been so expensive (for what it was) would have probably given a higher rating. Also locals very cliquey.

Oh dear, sorry we didn't hit the right notes for you... If you book through an agency such as Late Rooms or Booking.com they always allocate the room above the bar over which we have no control. Its always best to book direct with the accommodation provider and then you can specify your requirements such as a quiet room...

Stayed here for 1 night while working locally, managed to squeeze in a bike ride too! Great location for walking and cycling. Very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. Nice uncomplicated menu, good pub grub. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast. I was looking for a nice quiet proper pub and the Holly Bush is just that. Room nice and clean, no...

Can't comment on the accomodation as we only came for a drink. We were initially a bit nerrvy about drinking here, as one of our party put it "It's all a bit Slaughtered Lamb isn't it?" How wrong we all were, this is a community pub and every single person in here was welcoming, warm and happy to chat. The...
