My wife and I stayed two nights at the Crochet House. It is a good central location for visiting southern Louisiana. It is an easy drive to tour the plantations on the Mississippi River near Vacherie. We drove along the Bayous down to Cocodrie and saw all the fishing and shrimping boats and visited the Louisiana University Marine center. Leland...

Came down from Canada for the Voice of the Wetlands festival and choose this based on Trip Advisor reviews. They don't do Crochet House justice, our two nights here were the highlight of the trip. Everyone raves about breakfast and rightly so but the best part of the stay is sitting down with Sally and Leland and the other guest...

Crochet House is just an hour away from my home in New Orleans, but feels like worlds away! The accommodations provide you with all the luxuries of home and the decor offer you a glimpse into Houma's past. I have eaten Sally's breakfast 3 times, each time asking for her recipes. Sally and Leland are the perfect hosts with their...

My wife and I like to take little trips around the state. One hour away from New Orleans, we have been here twice, with plans on returning soon. Not your typical B&B, located in an unassuming suburban landscape, this location shines upon entering the wrought iron bar doorway. Clean pool and Jacuzzi, accessible whenever you want, huge back yard with...

What an experience. We managed to find this bed and breakfast at the last minute, and we were lucky! Leland and Sally were amazing hosts, and even after all these years of running this bed breakfast they continue to be enthusiastic. We were planning on staying only one night, but stayed two. The room was nothing fancy, but adequate with...

Leland and Sally are gems! Their home is a lovely, the beignet's are sinful and the conversation and welcome is priceless! The pool, the comfortable bed, and the lovely guests make Crochet House the best place to stay in Houma!

Meeting with the Crochet family makes the difference not only for their pancakes but for the discussion in French Cajun talking about their family history and tradition. We can only encourage everyone to come and visit this B&B that we really enjoyed.

I've been here twice, and I would go again. Sally and Leland are the greatest hosts. The breakfast is tasty and they are full of jokes, suggestions and Cajun hospitality. If you want to do anything in the Houma or South Louisiana area, you gotta stay here.

My friend and I recently went on a girlfriend's getaway to New Orleans, and we spent our last night here in Houma. Our hosts went above and beyond to make this stay a pleasure. Mr. Crochet was always quick to respond to my emails, and arranged for our room to be ready early. It was Memorial Day, and some places...
