This was a wonderful surprise. Wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful. Immediately felt like part of a family. I would recommend this to everyone. Food was very good. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our first trip to the South.

We stayed downstairs. Nothing is within walkable distance nor would you want to as the road in front is quite busy. A short drive down that road though will take you to Bon Temps. A fun Cajun roadhouse restaurant.

Richard has his Director of Events and Operations, Jeanne Marie Lousao, living on the property until the perfect innkeeper can be found. Jeanne oversees the staff who run the business during normal office hours.

The area has many, probably too many haha, wonderful restaurants and entertainment venues. To name a few of our "must visits" are as follows: Randol's Seafood Restaurant and Dance Hall, Prejeans, The Little Big Cup, French Press, Blue Dog, Downtown Alive, Angelle's Whisky River Landing, Café Des Amis, and much more.
