Our front desk person, Ramona, was very nice. The boys enjoyed the outdoor pool. Our room was very musty smelling, and did not improve with running the air conditioning unit. Our room lost power some time in the early morning, and we awoke to no air flow and a stronger musty smell. Breakfast was the usual fare. Overall, acceptable room for a place to lay your head, just a bit stinky.

The Holiday Express was dependable safe and friendly. The rooms were big and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay only because I like boiled eggs or scrambled eggs and what they had on Dec. 3 was fried eggs. So instead I ate oatmeal and yogurt. But we enjoyed our stay there.

The stay was good, the room was clean and nice. The only problem I had was with breakfast when they had the Eating utensils in cups with the eating end up and when people would grab a fork or a spoon, they would grab a few and then having put their hands all over the end you eat off of put them back in the cup with the rest. When I brought this to the attention of the lady at the desk she was rude and said They are doing what they was told and she would let the owner know.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express several times now on business. I have found out to always be clean and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and up to IHG standards. I will gladly stay again!

The front desk agent was exceptionally accommodating . We had a reservation for a trip to the casino and a concert and were a bit tired from our Houston drive . Although we arrived at the hotel early she checked with the housekeeping staff on several occasions to assure that we could get checked-in and get some rest . I regret I didn’t ask her name - but I did recognize her Caribbean accent (smile). She was very professional and made us proud to be IHG members .We slept like babies as the pillows were really soft .

My girlfriend and our 3 kids stopped late due to a vehicle emergency. Room was very dirty and lots of cockroaches. She immediately left to go to another hotel. Holliday inn refused to refund her money even though she showed her pictures of all the cockroaches in her room.

Dear Ryan R, Thank you for pointing out the issues with housekeeping so that we can work to improve upon this aspect of the guest experience at our hotel. Our housekeeping staff is held to a very high standard and we appreciate that you've informed us of a need to address housekeeping policies and procedures. We also appreciate your time in pointing out the facilities in most need of attention as we work towards updating and improving upon our accommodations. Fortunately, the pest control experts that we employed to complete the thorough inspection following your complaint discovered no evidence of roaches in any of our rooms. However, each room were still treated with a pest heater for precaution. We are working to take care of all of the issues that you addressed and we thank you for taking the time to share your experience.

Customer Service was awesome also Ms Ramona at the front desk was very professional and patient. Room service made sure I had sufficient supplies and the place was super clean. My stay was for almost a week and I enjoyed every second of it, breakfast was served every morning with sufficient juice, fruits and pastries. The breakfast attendant was very pleasant and kind also.

This was a great hotel! From the moment I stepped in the lobby I knew it would be a great stay. The lobby had a grand curved staircase leading to the second floor, a beautiful chandelier and a huge Christmas tree decorated for Mardi Gras. The desk staff were great and very friendly. Our room was huge and very comfortable with a king bed and comfortable chair and ottoman. Breakfast was great! Even had hot cinnamon rolls! Will definitely stay here again!

It looks like the hotel has been recently renovated. The hotel is very clean. The rooms are quite large and has all the amenities like coffee maker, TV etc. They also offer a good breakfast. Parking at the hotel is free and they also offer free WiFi. Located near shopping areas and parks. The casino's are just a few miles drive. Overall good hotel to stay. Would recommend it to anyone.
