Great hotel for price. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great hot breakfast. I recommend staying at this hotel anytime you wanna bring your family indoor pool under renovations going to be a wonderful and beautiful property when completed
One of the amendities is "hot breakfast", NOT there! After 3 days in Biloxi MS with La Quinta and Comfort Inn & Suites hotels with hot breakfast, was disappointed that for the same price there is none here at this Quality Inn. First time I've run into in at any Quality Inns. Booked a "suite", it wasn't, just a regular room. Left the door of the refrigerator open as the freezer needed to be defrosted. Cigarette burn in the bed cover in the "non-smoking room".
I arrived at Quality Inn on October 13th to check into a room I booked earlier that day. When I arrived I was told that I actually booked the room for October 25th. I explained I needed the room for October 13th. The clerks said she doesn’t have any available rooms and she will cancel the room I have booked and all I have to do is call the customer support number and I would get a refund. I called customer support they informed me that my room was canceled I would be refunded and they booked me for a different Quality inn that same night. A couple days has passed and I notice I still was not refunded for the hotel that was booked on the 25th of October . So I called customer support again on October 24th and they told me that they are unable to cancel or refund my money because it’s was a prepaid fixed rate so they informed me that they emailed the manager and to contact the general manger of the hotel so they can process the refund for me. I went to the hotel October 25th and talked with the front desk clerk the manager was gone for the day. I was willing to just stay the night instead of my money being completely wasted. But the night clerk told me again the room was canceled (she remembered me from the first interaction) and I should have been refunded. They had no room reserved for me. October 26th I finally get a hold of the manager and she told me. “I should have called earlier on the 25th if I wanted a room because they were all booked up. This was a prepaid fixed rate room that I could not get out of. And now the story is I should have called to confirm I wanted a room that I already paid for. They did not keep their end of the bargain the room should have been reserved if I could not get a refunded for it point blank. I asked for a free voucher for another night since she claims she can not refund me. she only offer a 15% discount. They got a free $115.02 out of me…something needs to be done about this. Horrible Customer Service…
My daughter and I chose this hotel on the fly. SHOULD HAVE READ REVIEWS!!! We arrived in late afternoon and headed for the casinos. Returned late and tired. Discovered TV didn't work even after the desk clerk came to help. After showering and washing hair found hair dryer broken. Desk clerk came with key to another room so I could use dryer there. (???!!!) But that was trivial compared to the clumps ....CLUMPS! .... of hair I found when I pulled back the sheets. (They sent up a girl with a clean sheet) And when the bedside lamp was turned on it showed disgusting stains on it. We were totally grossed out. Checked out next morning and tried to get in touch with manager. Made several calls but she wouldn't call back. PS Was foolish enough to get a cup of coffee there. Creamer curdled! OMG! What an awful place!…
We were put in a room on the 3rd (top) floor because they are the ones that have been renovated since the devastating hurricane 13 months ago. We got a rate of $116 a night for 3 people, which wasn't too bad. The lady at the front desk was very nice. We got to our room and were pleasantly surprised by a few things, my favorite being the rear-lit mirror in the bathroom and the glassed, walk-in shower. We also liked that it had a mini kitchen. Wished we had known before we got here. The queen beds were comfortable. My wife is always disappointed when there's no carpet. And the curtains were dark, but light streamed in through the sides and above the curtains. There was no trash can in the bathroom and no phone in the room to call the front desk to ask for towels and toilet paper, which were both in short supply. Because of the ongoing renovations there was NO breakfast and no workout facility, even though their website says they have both. Our room was quiet except for the idiot in the room next door who banged on the wall around 10:30 the first night. Of course you can't hold the hotel responsible for idiot guests. This will be a nice place worthy of your stay when renovations are completed. It is in a good location on I-210 around the southeast side of Lake Charles.…
Stayed here from 17 July 21- July 19 2021. Pool was green. Laundry room had old vents thrown in there. Shower was disgusting. Had a used rag already in the shower. Hair everywhere. Pubes on floor near toilet like if someone shaved. Toilet was filthy. Bedsheets had blood stains on it. Foul smell throughout. worst customer service ever. Everything was terrible. Worst hotel ever.
King non-smoking room was clean, bed was very comfortable and everything worked. It definitely needs to be updated but is acceptable. Staff was helpful and friendly. We were (10) minutes from the casino area.
Stayed here for one night. The room was clean and functional (everything worked). Looks like the premises were just recently painted and spruced up. All hotel chains have standards of cleanliness as does Priceline, who I booked it thru. Would I stay here again? Yes. If another hotel for the same price in same area popped up, would I go out of my way to stay here...nah...not necessarily. Not bad. Not GREAT either.
The hotel very dirty and run down. It doesnt look like it has been updated in 20 years. One of doors in lobby was held closed by zip tie..no door knob.Bed had too small sheets turned inside out and it showed vomit on the side of mattress. It was just all around awful.
Booked a room for a craft show at the Civic Center. The location was great for the event. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. I got a great rate by looking online and booking through a third party site.
