This property is best location for enjoying festivals and other downtown events in Lake Charles. I have used it under its previous affiliations, and as the Marco Hotel, now every room is newly renovated. We had a lovely view of live oaks and the lake for which the city is named. The management and staff are friendly and helpful. Thanks to Savannah,Kayla, and Kaden. I will recommend the Marco Hotel to friends and family.

I've e had the pleasure of visiting this property in Lake Charles for years, and I'm thrilled to see the recent upgrades! The upgrades have taken this property to the next level, with modern and comfortable rooms that exceed my expectations. But it's not just the physical changes that impress - the staff continues to provide exceptional service, making us feel welcome and at home. The location is still unbeatable, with easy access to all the area has to offer. With these updates, this property has solidified its place as our go-to destination in Lake Charles. We won't be staying anywhere else!

Loved staying at the newly opened Marco. It was clean, great hot breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs AND waffles & the staff (especially Savannah) was so helpful. We had a room with a lake view & could not believe how spacious the room was. We will stay here again next time we are in Lake Charles!!!

That’s at the front desk is very professional and friendly. He was very pleasant to deal with you. He made us feel welcomed and he took the time with us to give us tips on where the good restaurants were in town and what things that are available to do in this area.

Hotel did not accept prepaid voucher from Agoda. Agoda paid payment back, but hotel was asking for double price for same room! This never happened to me travelling often and hotel booking mostly through Agoda. Receptionist blaming Agoda for giving good price cannot be the problem of the prepaying guest!

The hotel is newly renovated and offers a fantastic stay with its impeccable staff, who are friendly and attentive. The location is beyond perfect, providing easy access to key attractions and the civic center. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well designed, what I loved most was the brand-new, spa-like bathroom that add a touch of luxury and is very spacious. A great choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in a prime spot!

The hotel is not worth $196. We were desperate for a hotel room, so stayed there. We will not stay again. Our sheets had something black on them, like maybe they were washed with a sharpie marker or mascara. The room itself is quite large, which is nice. However, it feels a whole lot like a large college dorm room, down to the cheesy doors used. The breakfast has only cereal and coffee. Don't expect anything fancy. The lake across the street is nice, and there is a Celtic Bar we had dinner at which was a simple four minute walk from the hotel. We liked that also.

The people here are great I also really like the location right in front of the lake was awesome. Most of the rooms are remodeled very nicely. Not far from the downtown area. Everything is very close by for just about anything you want to do. Overall nice place.

Friendly and personal service
The staff were all very friendly and Tonya was helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for her. The hotel is well situated, being close to the water, downtown , and the tourist sites. We would definitely stay there again.
