The receptionist was very polite and professional. I was on a business trip and the meeting lasted longer than expected. So I had to booked at the last minute. I was so happy that they accept cash payments I just lost my card but I did have cash on me. This was a life saver. The southern hospitality was everything.

We loved our room. Comfortable beds, clean, nicely decorated. Loved the chair, ottoman and side desk table. The breakfast area was clean and nicely decorated; however, as for the breakfast it left a lot to be desired. We were there on Sunday morning just after they opened at 7am. There was 1 apple in the fruit bins and it was bruised. The milk didn't come out of the container well. We could not have waffles because there was no waffle batter. Sausage needed to be browned a bit more! There was no decaf coffee! Was told they didn't offer it.

We sometimes don’t recognize the janitors in the hotel business, but I want to thank Mattie on 1320 Martin Luther king, in lake Charles today keeping to the rooms so clean. They work hard for us visitors to come stay in places like this. She asked was there anything that we needed, extra towls, soap, toilet paper ect. She went above and beyond. Thank you Mattie for doing a great job on you job, you are Very APPRECIATED! Michelle from TEXAS 💕

We were there for less than 16 hours. We swam in the pool that has sucks and other debris coating in it. A trail of ants made there way to my son's nuggets that were sitting on the nightstand for about 45 min. We had to have our keys redone 5 times because they stopped working after 3-4 uses. Also, you could tell that the guy working at the front counter did not want to be there although he wasn't rude, just send unhappy. I doubt I will stay at a Best Western again.

hotel looks closed on the outside with overgrown landscaping and bad exterior appeal. Room smelled pretty musty. AC unit had mold all over it. Rusty fixtures (lamps, bathroom). All furniture in room had tons of dust on it. Internet is basically non-existent. I went down for breakfast, but it didn't look appealing, so we went out for breakfast at a restaurant in the area. Overall, I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth it. I will pay a few extra bucks to stay in a nicer area and hotel.

Really good small hotel, the staff were very nice and helped as much as they could. They just need a good maintenance man and better internet service. Breakfast food was good but get there early or they run out of food.

I reserved a room online and paid. I then got an email with a confirmation number. Upon arrival the lady at the front desk told me that she could not find the reservation and after 30 minutes of the "computer being slow" she wanted to re-do the reservation as she believed since she couldn't see it, payment wouldn't go through. I didn't want to do that as I already paid and did not want to be charged twice however she told me if it did go through then we could speak with the manager in the morning and get a refund then. We were woken up at 9 in the morning to a knock on the door and then they OPENED it! With my husband and I still in bed as we had gotten to the hotel at 2:30 A.M. When checking out, a helpful man was working and seemed to know which lady we were referring to because it must have been a reoccurring theme. However we still don't have our refund almost a week later. Not to mention the room was not in clean condition. The bathroom was the worst of it. Hair on the floor, shelves where the towels go were dusty and dirty, the mini fridge had sticky stuff on the inside, the lamp stand had rust on it and the light switch was nearly black from grime. I've stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past 5yrs. and always found it to be nice. It has now been remodeled due to hurricane damage and is even better. The breakfast is really good and they keep the breakfast bar well supplied.

Very nice property with great rooms. The staff is friendly, helpful and professional. There is a work-out facility with good equipment and a very nice pool. The breakfast offerings are great and the breakfast area is very clean and inviting.

This is the best Th This is the best choice in the area, in the past our choice motel down the street seemed a little run down. This BW seems recently remodeled, clean comfortable bed and caring manager at check in.
