They ask for $100 cash deposit, I didn’t have cash so they did finally allow me to use a credit card. They kept my $100 saying I smoked in the room which I absolutely did not smoke in the room. I called corporate office as I could not get a response from the hotel. Still no repo se and no return of my deposit. Hence the reason they ask for cash. BEWARE SHADY PRACTICE!! No help from corporate
A/c in room wasnt cooling properly. Room felt damp & smelled musky. I wouldn't walk barefoot in the carpet (felt damp, from the second we entered the room). Guestrooms need updating and new carpet for sure. Our carpet had questionable stains and spots (looked like vomit spots).
Booked this property due to price and Wyndham rewards. Didn’t expect a lot of amenities, but still expected a decent bed. Bed in my room was beyond extra firm. I’m not sure the carpet was vacuumed during my 3 night stay.
Rooms (I ended up checking 3 of them...) smell musty, and there’s a reason why! The wall mounted AC units and improperly installed in all the roomsI looked at, do not drain condensate, and are and poorly maintained. As a result, the internal blower components are COVERED in blooms of mold and mildew - see pictures. Complained to front desk, was told by manager over the phone that it’s not mold, “it’s just dust because they run all the time”. I’m not an idiot. Dust covers things pretty evenly, not in irregular groups of black, brown, green, and white lumps. Was told the unit would be cleaned/swapped out the next day, but that didn’t happen. Left unit off so as not to spread mold spores into my lungs and onto my belongings. I realize this is the Gulf Coast, and mold/mildew are a challenge because of the environmental conditions, but this is 100% an installation/maintenance issue. And it’s 100% disgusting. Legionnaires’ disease is next up for this place if these issues are not addressed and corrected!…
The family and I were on the road late and pulled over to catch some sleep and didn’t want to spend a lot for a little a sleep I checked around And pulled into to Baymont and was impressed from the start. The front desk had perfect manners the place was clean. The linings and beds were comfortable The free breakfast was excellent So all in all this is one of our best stays in this 7 day vacation. Clean Friendly Great value!!! Highly Recommend Thank You
The staff is very freindly and tries to help. The property needs some updating. Bathroom had light fixtures that were peeling, toliet seet not secured properly to toliet, TV remote did not work. Staff tried new batteries, new remote but would not work. The Continetal breakfast was just as good as any average hotel.
I stayed here 7 days would have left after the first night had I not paid for one week. During my 7 days not once was my sheets changed, not once was the floor vacuumed, and not once did they clean the bathroom which also was not clean when I moved in. The bathroom had hair on floor in all the corners and dried urine running down side of toilet. I would never stay here again.
We were supposed to stay 2 nights. We checked out after one night. The hotel had a bad odor and i killed 2 baby roaches on the wall and table. The beds are uncomfortable and water was leaking out the bottom of our tub.
This place was overpriced unclean stunk pictures hanging off the walls not safe( a man was asleep in the hall across from our door)
Hotel is nowhere near the quality level of typical Wyndam properties. The room was unclean especially the bath area. Refrigerator had a block of ice an required defrost. One breakfast item was powered sugar and chocolate covered donuts. Yes, the kind your kids want to buy.
