Carlos at the front desk was awesome. He was very welcoming and made sure to let us know he would be there is we needed anything at all. He is the reason for the 5. The hotel was exactly as expected. It has what we needed and the room was clean.I would recommend staying here.

Traveling to Florida from Texas stoped here , they lock the door at 10 , the lady made me answer about 10 questions from the button before I got inside . When I checked in she told me " we don't have the room you booked " ( a am an elite member so my room should be guaranteed) .I'm 6"2 they put me in a handicap room I could not shower properly. The room was not clean , . The lady did not tell me about breakfast. And the housekeeper walked in At 8 Am when I was in the shower . I reached out to the hotel nobody ever called me back

Other reviews note how stark and plain the rooms are. No pictures, nothing, bare hard floors, etc. Lesser quality furniture and amenities than expected for a Marriott property. Ok, the entire vicinity was severely damaged by fairly recent hurricanes. Sitting next door at the Waffle House I observed a hotel property across the road fenced off and shuttered. The business that was in front of that hotel was gone - only a slab. Many other examples in the immediate area. The staff was nice, my bed was comfortable, and the price was on the lower end of the Marriott scale. It fit my needs for a one night stop on a long road trip. I would come back.

The Good: Room was clean, staff was friendly, parking was easy. The Bad: First day I had to leave around 7:50 AM and there was no breakfast out at all, just coffee. The second day leaving at the same time there was only bread and instant oatmeal containers. This is not a breakfast. They have bottles attached in the shower filled with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash - my conditioner was just filled with water. They did not clean my room at all (this isn't COVID excuse period anymore). The room was very sterile, no pictures or anything, it was just an un-carpeted room with furniture. Thought a Marriot place would be slightly nicer than Holiday Inn, but it was worse.

Service was good. Good water pressure in shower and lots of hot water. But the room was not very clean and the pull-out sofa in the King room was very uncomfortable. Stayed on the main floor and were awakened by people walking around on the 2nd floor at 1:30am.

Front desk hospitality was great. Breakfast was somewhat lacking for what I have come to expect from a Fairfield. Room was not very clean, especially the shower and floor. Room was missing a hairdryer but I called the front desk to request and one was quickly brought up. Our room faced I-10 and I never heard any road noise.

My wife and I were staying at this property on points. The young woman who checked us in was pleasant and efficient and assigned us to a room on the third floor. She said that the property had been recently renovated with new beds and a new laundry, among other things. They had just reopened five days before our arrival. Pulling back the covers on one of the beds, my wife immediately noticed that the sheets were stained, not clean and not fresh. A clean room is a nonnegotiable item for me, so we went back down to the lobby and the desk clerk kindly reassigned us to another third-floor room. Unfortunately, the sheets on this bed were even worse, stained, and lightly littered with hair and a lot of unidentifiable particulate matter. The carpeting in the hallways and the elevator was likewise soiled. I did not have a chance to check out the bathroom. We contemplated asking for clean sheets and changing the linens ourselves, but opted instead to find another local property. The thought of spending the night there in the absence of just basic cleanliness was just not an option. As a life-time Bonvoy Gold rewards member with hundreds of Marriott-branded stays, rarely have I encountered a problem such as this. It is not up to Marriott's standards. The front desk clerk was quite apologetic but this obviously was not a problem for which she was responsible.
