I was not told in advance about the disco happening on the night which would affect the room I was staying in. Arriving at 8.30pm after driving 400 miles, I had no option but to stay. The disco went on until midnight 20, and the bar did not close until 1 20. The noise prevented me from sleeping until after...

This hotel has a cosy public bar where we popped in for a pint and took advantage of the "Pensioners Special" a bowl of tasty soup and a choice of toastie for only £3, prepared and served by a pleasant young lady

Stayed here for ferry fair,great pub atmosphere all day,staff all very friendly and welcoming. Checked into the room,great views and very comfy bed! Breakfast was perfect,staff couldn't do enough to help. Bar looked busy at night but couldn't hear anything in the room.

Ideal Hotel for a short break in or around South Queensferry. Friendly and helpful staff.Nice room with fantastic views of The Forth Road Bridge .Good value and nice breakfast.Will use again next time in the area

I go very often to Edinburgh for work and because of the festival I didn't find accommodation in the usual venue... what a good strike of luck! I found this amazing place and I wont go anywhere else! In the high street of South Queensferry you can find this wee gem. It has its own parking!! Bliss! The hotel's decor...

Well we both arrived at the Stag about 12 o'clock as my partner had an interview next door at the Orroco Pier ( Which I am glad I didn't go into....EXPENSIVE!)...Anyway for the sake of 20 feet the Stag is spot on.We were greeted by Davie's.....(Owner).. black lab ...so I believe its dog friendly,bonus.It was quiet but I hear it...

Stayed overnight as was going on an evening trip on the Maid of the Forth. Small number of rooms above a pub. We had room 1 which had a wonderful view of the harbour and Forth Rail Bridge. Stayed several times on business and just loved the real ales and the food. The bar staff know the beers and there is a surprising range to sample.
