Stop by for reservations and choose your meal. Show up at 6pm and wait for the dinner bell. Delicious lobster dinner. But you must have the blueberry pie. The best I've ever tasted. Simple, quaint, and delicious. A wonderful step back in time.

If you are looking for deluxe accommodations, do not stay here. However, if you are looking to disconnect from the pace of the 21st century this is the place. The rooms are the epitome of no frills comfort. Clean, airy and just plain relaxing. You can sit on the porch at 6 am and watch the lobstermen check their traps,...

I almost don't want to write this glowing review because I don't want to share the secret, but I have to admit, Driftwood Inn is my family's happy place. We've been coming for 6 or 7 years and we wouldn't go a year without coming here. It's a beautiful place with multiple porches to sit, relax, and be with the...

I stayed here for 2 nights while attending a wedding. The reception was on site, and everything was perfect. I did however feel bad for a couple I met that had come from MA and were only staying the 2 nights that the wedding party had basically taken over the building/grounds. They were in the Driftwood building, which most of...

This is a great old fashioned place to stay -especially if you love being next to the rocks and listening all night to the waves crashing on them. The Surfside and driftwood buildings were built in the early 1900's with solid structures and pine interiors. They have shared baths and showers with no amenities like hair dryers or coffee makers....

Every time I have been in the Portland, Freeport, Brunswick and Bath areas, I have always made it a point to stay at the wonderful place. It's not for everyone but it SURE is for me. Quaint, quiet, comfortable and slightly primitive describes it perfectly. They have a very good kitchen which serves local favorites at night and WONDERFUL Blueberry...

Perfection, but not for everyone! This is a true escape spot for lovers of the Maine Coastline, for that's what it is, meaning there is no television, or phones, shared showers and it is rustic. I personally feel it's wonderful for adults who enjoy sitting with a (byo) glass of wine or beer and starring out to the ocean. It's...

I have had family and friends stay here. They keep coming back. It has a B&B feel. There are some shared amenities for some rooms, but has an awesome location unparalleled from other establishments. The saltwater pool is not like a chlorinated pool and I expect most people find it unappealing because it is dark and a bit slippery like...

The property has great views and seems like a great place to stay, but the management of this establishment is horrible. We had friends staying at this place who were refused restaurant service because they mistakingly booked them the same weekend the place was rented for a wedding. What the heck were they supposed to do for dining miles away...

I recently visited this Inn on a trip to Maine and feel that there is a huge misrepresentation on the website of the amenities. A) Saltwater drained and not available for use and looks nothing like website picture B) upon arrival we were shown our room that was "trashed" and not ready for inhabitation - most importantly YOU SHARE A...
