We stayed for two nights over Columbus Day weekend. The cabin was immaculate. There were 3 adults and two children and we stayed in #4. Surprisingly, we had plenty of space for all of us. One couple took the double room, the other took the sweet little single room with a view, and two tween/teens had the fold out couch....

Thank you so much for your review. I really appreciate that you took the time to share the details of your visit with us. We know how hard it can be to visualize a place that one has not visited before and I think you did a very good job painting an accurate picture. We love what we do here...

I have been looking forward to returning to the Sea Escape Cottages and just made my reservations! It's the perfect place to enjoy total relaxation. I stayed in the North Suite which offers beautiful views of the Maine coast. After spending hours watching lobster boats hauling in their catch, we'd walk to town for, what else, lobster rolls! Every day...

Dear Cindy, Thank you for deciding to join us again on Bailey Island and sharing your experience with us and with others. We hope you are happy and healthy coming into this holiday season. The lobster boats are still working out in the sound and they are just starting to bring some of there traps in to shore for the...

We have friends that live on Bailey Island and they recommended Sea Escapes. The owners, Donna and Les, are nice folks with all the character of a "down-Maine" novel. The cottage we stayed in was small and cozy, with an intoxicating vista of the Maine coast. Working lobster boats always in view, zigzagging through the many buoys to find their...

The suite we had was large and comfortable. It was immaculate and the owners were warm and friendly. Couldn't have asked for more. The surrounding area is breathtaking. It really was the perfect Maine getaway.

Our stay at Sea Escape was even better than we'd hoped. There aren't a lot of options on Bailey Island and these cottages are the perfect combination of comfort and Bailey Island character. Luxury accommodations don't exist on BI, nor should they! We stayed in the Penthouse with our 10-month-old twins, so the washer and dryer and dishwasher were must-haves....

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sea Escape Cottages from July 9 to July 13, 2012, and couldn't have asked for a better time. This location is very peaceful and relaxing, and fairly remote. The grounds were well kept, and cottages were well spaced apart. There is no beach, but a nice deck by the water, with steps leading down...

I adore this place, it's quiet nice & scenic. Family friendly and ready for hikers & beach combers alike!! We have been here twice (this is our third time) and there will be many more to come! Reminder: buy supplies before you get on to the island!

Our family group of 13 (ages not quite 1yo to 50) stayed at Sea Escape Cottages several years ago (prior to limited time of mo/yr selection) and found them to be a welcome, warm, immaculate home-like place to stay, and the owners were very friendly and accommodating. If and when we ever return to ME, we will absolutely stay there...

Stayed in Cottage 4 - an imaculate 2 bedroom cottage, perfectly equipped with everything we may have needed during our stay. Enjoyed relaxing on the porch with the morning coffee and watching the lobstermen checking their traps. In the evening, the Adirondack chairs beckoned for viewing the sunset . . . will definitely return!

This was our first time at Sea Escapes and it won't be our last. I wish I could convey how much we enjoyed our stay. The lawn is beautifully maintained with a gazebo, firepits for every cottage (with a beautiful view) and access to the water. Our stay was very quiet, though I believe most of the cottages were booked....
