My daughter and I spent a night ( I wish we stayed longer) at Ann's Point. The first thing you note is the view. The inn is almost surrounded on all sides by ocean. It feels like your own island. The second thing of note is the huge, bedrooms which are all beautifully decorated... even their small bedrooms looked huge...

We enjoyed our stay at this Inn quite thoroughly. The proprietors, Allan and Jeanette, have left no stone unturned. There is not one thing you can think of that they have not already thought of. The decor and design is beautiful yet also comfortably casual, in a perfect location with lovely views from the rooms and the common areas. The...

What a beautiful location! We spent a week at Ann's Point Inn and it was a wonderful week due to Jeanette and Alan's attention to detail and their guests. Everything was perfect and the breakfasts were wonderful. They have thought of everything and there was nothing missing. If we are ever in this area, we will definitely stay here.

The more Mt Desert and the center of Acadia National Park get crowded, the more one comes to appreciate the "Quiet Side" of this spectacular island off the Coast of Maine. So it was a sincere pleasure to learn from another trusted innkeeper about Ann's Point Inn in Bernard, just a foghorn away from the iconic Bass Harbor Head Light....

Jeanette and Alan are to be commended for the thoughtful way they run this wonderful B&B. The food is SUPERLATIVE...both the breakfast and the wonderful hors d'oeuvres they serve at their delightful evening wine tastings. Then there are the daily homemade cookies in your room and the baskets of trail snacks which make life so easy. The setting is lovely,...

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this very special bed and breakfast. The location was a peaceful oasis. The room was clean, spacious, and filled with amenities like home made cookies which Janette lovingly baked daily. The bed was very comfortable. Our hosts were lovely and informative. The three course breakfasts were delicious. All and all, an...

Cannot say enough about our wonderful stay at Ann's Point. Out host, Alan, was enthusiastic, friendly, full of tips and stories of local lore. Jeanette, with whom I spoke on the phone, was so friendly and helpful. I believe she is also the creator of the wonderful breakfasts and cookies delivered to the room, but not sure. They do a...

We enjoyed our stay of three nights very much. What a wonderful spot Ann's Point is! Our room was very spacious, well designed and equipped, very clean and the bed most comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Alan and Jeanette are wonderful hosts. Hottub and sauna - what a treat. This is definitely a high end boutique B&B experience well worth its...

My husband and I recently spent 10 days on Mt. Desert Island and stayed at the Ann's Point Inn. If you're looking for a high end experience away from the madding crowds of Bar Harbor, this is your ticket. Alan and Jeannette are the perfect hosts, breakfasts are amazing, the location and views are stunning. Bring your bathing suits for...
