We were visiting family in Greenwood and wanted a really nice to eat dinner. Our granddaughter recommended Mill Hill Inn. It's a gorgeous place and, best of all, fairly handicapped accessible which was critical since I had just broken my ankle. We sat on their porch and each ordered a small plate or entrée and shared each of them with...

My fiancé and I were searching for a place to stay for the night to attend a wedding in Bethel when we found the Mill Hill Inn. The location of the Inn was perfect and was exactly what we were looking for (within walking distance to the wedding). It was tucked away and peaceful but also close enough to stores,...

I stayed in room 6 and it was clean and fresh. Woody and Lee are warm and friendly. This was my first visit to Bethel and The Mill Hill Inn ranks high on my list. This beautiful B&B is the place to stay in Bethel!

6-Room Inn, with the Best Host (Lee & Woody), We felt like family our entire stay. The Inn offers a true Maine Feel, With plenty of space in each room. Even if your not a skier and you need time away. It's the place to hang out. Awesome accommodations and Tapas food.

Woody is one of the best hosts ever. Extremely good breakfasts, very attentive and kind. The inn is clean and welcoming and has an excellent amount of space to accommodate big groups like we had (20 or so). Free Wifi. Cannot say enough good things about the Mill Hill Inn

Our whole family stayed at the Mill Hill for a third time this past weekend. We got suites 7 & 8 and rooms 5 & 6. Everyone was once again very satisfied with the accommodations and we're always overwhelmed by the kindness of Woody. There's nowhere better to stay in Bethel.

The rooms are spacious with nice views and the restaurant serves great tapas! There are always other interesting folks in for the skiing, hiking, or visiting Gould Academy down the street. The town is great for walking and has beautiful houses and views!

I was really impressed with the Mill Hill Inn from the very beginning. We spent the day skiing at Sunday River and really looked forward to relaxing at the Inn, and it was everything we were hoping for. The room was tastefully decorated and had simple amenities. Woody and Lee were great to interact with, and were knowledgeable about the...

Low key, homey, family run restaurant with their own take on tapas. Eclectic decor with pool table and acoustic guitar available to play. Only open Thurs thru Sunday. Service was super friendly but not very attentive. The brie could've been an appetizer or a dessert. The chorizo pairing was a bit awkward. The prosciutto/asparagus was salty but good. Finally, the...

This property is outstanding, simply because of the sum of the parts...welcoming, friendly and wonderful owners who make you feel special without over doing it, comfortable and clean rooms (bed was super), food was real good and natural- no processed stuff you get in typical hotels! The staff were attentive and engaged in nice conversations. The stove and bar area...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Mill Hill Inn, originally a barn built in the 1870s, was first converted into a private home in 1948 and then into a B & B in 1977. Lee and Woody Hughes purchased the inn in April of 2010 and renovated this wonderful structure from top to bottom during that summer. The newly renamed Mill Hill Inn opened its doors September 9, 2010. The inn is located just off the historic district on the north end of the Bethel Common, on a secluded acre and a half. This private setting is beautifully landscaped with both ornamental, vegetable, and herb gardens, producing food and flowers for the inn. The leveled lawn space adjacent to the front door area provides ample space for a 30' x 50' tent, suitable for weddings and private affairs. The Studio Bistro & Bar offer a unique menu and a full bar, served in the Great Room as well as in our dining room. The inn has six rooms, two of which are suites. All rooms come with new king sized beds, all cotton bedding, and private baths. The suites provide guests with kitchens and can sleep six to eight people. Rent one room or the entire inn, which can comfortably sleep twenty-two guests. PRICES: STARTING FROM $109 - $119, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, SUITES - $139, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ... more   less
