This place is a gem! The house is clean, warm and very comfortable as if you were in your own home. It is in a beautiful location, walking distance to everything. Breakfast and coffee was delicious. We are definitely coming back and staying a few more days.

My wife, 23-month old daughter and I stayed here for one night, breaking up a journey. Glad we did; Bethel is a pleasant, quiet little town and the Mill Hill Inn is a very welcoming place to stay. The room was very comfortable and quiet, breakfast was decent and the evening food menus provided us with a good meal. There's...

Woody and Lee are exceptional hosts; they are gracious and very hospitable. We felt at home immediately, and have made Mill Hill Inn our go to destination for...

This was our second stay, and once again we had an enjoyable stay at the Mill Hill Inn. Our room was very spacious and our host, Woody, extremely accommodating. While breakfast was delicious and filling (popovers, oatmeal, multi-grain hot cereal with a variety of toppings,) it was a little too 'fancy' for our children, who preferred buttered toast. Woody said...

Very nice B & B located near the town center. The owners are extremely nice people and really make you feel at home and are willing to go out of the way to address your needs. Breakfast is very good and different each day. Rooms are clean and ample. The Mill Hill also operates a restaurant with a very good...

We were visiting family in Greenwood and wanted a really nice to eat dinner. Our granddaughter recommended Mill Hill Inn. It's a gorgeous place and, best of all, fairly handicapped accessible which was critical since I had just broken my ankle. We sat on their porch and each ordered a small plate or entrée and shared each of them with...

My fiancé and I were searching for a place to stay for the night to attend a wedding in Bethel when we found the Mill Hill Inn. The location of the Inn was perfect and was exactly what we were looking for (within walking distance to the wedding). It was tucked away and peaceful but also close enough to stores,...

6-Room Inn, with the Best Host (Lee & Woody), We felt like family our entire stay. The Inn offers a true Maine Feel, With plenty of space in each room. Even if your not a skier and you need time away. It's the place to hang out. Awesome accommodations and Tapas food.

Woody is one of the best hosts ever. Extremely good breakfasts, very attentive and kind. The inn is clean and welcoming and has an excellent amount of space to accommodate big groups like we had (20 or so). Free Wifi. Cannot say enough good things about the Mill Hill Inn

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Mill Hill Inn, originally a barn built in the 1870s, was first converted into a private home in 1948 and then into a B & B in 1977. Lee and Woody Hughes purchased the inn in April of 2010 and renovated this wonderful structure from top to bottom during that summer. The newly renamed Mill Hill Inn opened its doors September 9, 2010. The inn is located just off the historic district on the north end of the Bethel Common, on a secluded acre and a half. This private setting is beautifully landscaped with both ornamental, vegetable, and herb gardens, producing food and flowers for the inn. The leveled lawn space adjacent to the front door area provides ample space for a 30' x 50' tent, suitable for weddings and private affairs. The Studio Bistro & Bar offer a unique menu and a full bar, served in the Great Room as well as in our dining room. The inn has six rooms, two of which are suites. All rooms come with new king sized beds, all cotton bedding, and private baths. The suites provide guests with kitchens and can sleep six to eight people. Rent one room or the entire inn, which can comfortably sleep twenty-two guests. PRICES: STARTING FROM $109 - $119, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY, SUITES - $139, DOUBLE OCCUPANCY ... more   less
