I visited Blue Hill to bicycle. This was my first time in Blue Hill but there will be many more. I loved everything about this stay at the BHI. Both breakfasts and the hot afternoon snacks were beyond excellent. I enjoyed both Duncan and his assistant. These guys know hospitality. The room was just what I wanted. I intend to...

I don't even know where to begin. We stayed in Room 9 which is a two-bedroom suite with a private bathroom. I am a neat freak and I can honestly say that I have never been to a hotel, inn or anywhere as clean and welcoming as the Blue Hill Inn. It was beyond my expectations in terms of everything...

This lovely inn on a side street in town was comfortable, cozy, and wonderfully maintained. Breakfast was like being in a restaurant, with a full menu of home-cooked dishes served in a large dining room with several linen-topped tables. Duncan is an inn-keeper extraordinaire, and he helped plan our days. The town itself feels residential and is quiet and non-touristy....

Upon arrival and entering the inviting living room, we were greeted with an area of available beverages, fruits and sweets. We were shown to our suite which was very accommodating and comfortable for my husband and I with a lovely high 4 poster bed, sitting area, fireplace, and nicely appointed bathroom. We so enjoyed the detail of the comfortable breakfast...

My husband and I had tickets for the Kneisel Hall concert and wanted to stay within walking distance. The Blue Hill Inn was the perfect choice. It combines 19th century charm with 21st century hospitality. We were welcomed and shown to our room (room #2) even though we arrived before the official check-in time. We had a nice chat with...

The Blue Hill Inn has spoiled us for all other B&Bs, and I really can't imagine how it could be better. The innkeeper, Duncan, and his assistant, Chris, are not only warm and approachable, but they also offer the highest level of professionalism and service. Our first night, we found our bed to be a little too soft and the...

I have stayed here many times over the years. It's my go to away from home. This year there is a new owner. Do not panic! Duncan has worked for many years under the previous owner and life at the inn is fabulous! I have stayed in most of the rooms and to my delight, although they are all a...

My Important Other and I spend three nights at the Blue Hill Inn last weekend and could not have been more delighted by the quiet charm of the Inn, the friendly hospitality of owner Duncan and Chris, the real maple syrup provided with blueberry pancakes, the unbelievable Bananas Foster Belgian Waffle, and the quiet garden filled with flowers and trees...
