We booked a room here after our travel plans unexpectedly changed. There's a bar, restaurant and cozy sitting room with a fireplace and coffee. All rooms face the harbor or ocean. I'm definitely looking forward to returning at a later time for a longer stay.

My wife and I spent several days there in July. A bit long in the tooth but very serviceable. It's on the harbor, which is beautiful, but slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the center of town. People very friendly and accommodating. Had a good sized restaurant though we only had breakfast there on the patio. Great sitting...

We stayed at Brown's Wharf visiting relatives over the summer. The property is pretty dated, especially considering the rate they are getting. The setting is nice but the rooms need a serous update -- new carpet, wall treatments and linens -- we are guessing everything is over 20 years old. The wifi stinks and the sidewalks are not easy to...

Been to Boothbay Harbor 10 times, stayed at Brown's the last 8. You cannot beat the view from any room. This is a working fishing harbor as well as a base for many luxury boats, particularly sailboats. There is always something going on to fascinate us midwesterners. Every room has a balcony for sitting practically hanging over the water, with...

My mother and sisters did a New England coast trip and the Browns Wharf was our first stop. None of the other small towns or local hotels came close to the warmth of this place. We traveled in August and the grounds were beautiful groomed. The hanging baskets made it seem like the porch of an old friend. The rooms...

This is the second time I we have been here. Very friendly staff very quiet.room was good views from porch were outstanding. Able to walk to town.beautiful place to relax would recommended they have a ocean view or a bay view. We always take the bay view so we can watch the lobster boats come and go.

Hotel room very nice and clean. Liked the patio doors to balcony to sit outside and watch the boats. People were very nice and helpful. Also, restaurant on property was excellent and wonderful sunset views. Also, you can walk to a park nearby about 15 minute walk.

Brown's Wharf Inn is a true gem of Boothbay Harbor. This was our first stay. We have booked for 2017. The accessible room we had was spacious and very clean. Coffee and a muffin in the morning and cocktails in the evening. On the balcony. Overlooking the ocean. Magic. From the reception/registration desk to the dining room to the clean...

This place was awesome! Clean accommodating and right on the water. They have a great restaurant on site. Also have a trolley that takes you into town and very friendly atmosphere. We loved our stay here. We will be back next year!

This was our first trip to Maine and we actually stayed there twice in the same week. We loved the area around Boothbay and the foot bridge across the bay made it an easy walk from Brown's Wharf to all the shops, restaurants, and lobster wharfs. The restaurant was very good for both breakfast and dinner and has both inside...
