We stayed and went to Gardens aglow. I am giving it 4 stars because of location and view. Beautiful right on the bay and you can get to everything on foot. Prices are better off season. The restaurant was closed for the season so breakfast was yogurt and muffins, they didn't have any tea out and had to request it....

Tugboat inn was clean, fairly inexpensive, located right over the water, non-smoking and most importantly close to everything! They had the restaurant decorated for the Christmas Holiday season. We were checked in easily and just had to leave the keys in the room when we left. We could walk to everything in Boothbay Harbor. Very convenient.

Boothbay is a quaint little town. Tugboat Inn is located perfectly to walk around the town to dining and shopping. No need to drive anywhere. I wish we had known when we booked the room, their restaurant was closed for the season but we found other options. Gardens Aglow at the Boothbay Botanical gardens was beautiful and we took a...

First of all let me say that the view from our room was amazing, especially with the town lit up and decorated for the holiday's. The room was clean and the king bed on a par with the most comfortable (compare to Hyatt and Marriott) that we have ever experienced. Linen's were first quality. We were close to everything open...

We came to Boothbay for the Christmas lights and stayed the night. The Tugboat Inn was on the water and close to everything in town. The bed was very comfortable and the view is amazing. The outdoor hot tub was great and looked over the marina and harbor.

Boothbay is beautiful and you should stay at least one, if not two nights. There are lots of choices for simple motels. if you need a Ritz or Four Seasons, please look on Tripadvisor and you’ll probably figure out the one place that’s truly upscale. So why the Tugboat Inn? The Tugboat Inn is not a mom and pop operation...

We are just driving the coast in mid-November with a rough plan and no booked hotels. Stopped here for evening and loved it. Rooms were quaint (Tammy gave us a choice of three rooms - let us go visit each with key - and we choose the "Crows Nest"). Views are beautiful. We used the little hot tub (bringing a...

Rooms were in short supply when we made this reservation, so we "splurged" on a king room at the Tugboat Inn, based on reviews about its charming waterfront location. Our room reminded me of a spring break motel--clean, but with outdated bedspreads and old furniture. We were on the 3rd floor of the Main Inn, and the "private patio with...

We wandered into this hotel looking for a place to stay. They showed us a room right over the water, so we decided to take it for the night even though it was more expensive than we we wanted. It was a nice room, and the view was good, but I wouldn't stay there again, because the novelty of sleeping...
