What drew us to make the reservation was the likelihood of finding stuffed bear and moose in our room. Those rooms are available but they are only a few of them - they are the "themed" rooms. But, after the initial disappointment, we did find moose designs on our bedspread, and cheesy dioramas in the lobby, and kitschy decor in...

My fiance and I spent four nights in this hotel during late September and early October of 2015. The hotel and our room were decorated with maritime themes. Our room had two queen confortable beds, table and chairs for dining, desk and office chair, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and iron for clothes. Also had an area with hangers for clothes...

Although the room was okay for the overnight stop on our motorcycle trip, the bathroom was so tiny it could only accommodate one person at a time. The whole room could use a major face lift. The beds were comfortable.

Very clean.Super friendy staff.Good free breakfasts.Close to dining, shopping, bowling, pharmacies and grocery stores.Very easy drive to Bangor.About 20 minute drive to Bangor Mall. Don't expect the Hilton but a very decent place to stay for a get away with all the amenities of a higher priced motel.

As always, the staff was fantastic. Friendly, polite and accommodating. Probably the best value to be had in Maine. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The room had a nice ambiance and was roomy. Always a pleasure and not a budget breaker.

A warm and friendly welcome started my stay at the Vacationland Inn and it only got better from there. The staff was uniformly professional and engaging, and knew how to do their job, no doubt about it. Bed was super comfortable (I like beds on the softer side), and the room was above all, the cleanest hotel room I've ever...

This was our second stay. 1st time was a year ago and we were in the main building and it was rather noisy. This time we were in the building behind and it was really nice and quiet. Unfortunately, it was the day that they found some undesirable people doing illegal activities in one of the rooms and the fire...

Booked an overnight stay before heading to Bar Harbor mainly because the price was right. I'm glad I picked this hotel. The room I picked had two queen beds and the room was quite large and very clean. I was worried because the beds felt soft but my back did not hurt in the morning. Great place to stay.

We were warmly welcomed by the front desk clerk upon arrival and were able to check in very quickly. Our rooms were adjacent and quite nice. While not fancy, they had ample space, comfortable beds and doors exiting both outside and to a hallway with vending machines as well some very unique chairs and benches made from what appear to...
