This was the worst place I've stayed in. The place was dirty and service unprofessional. The lady at reception was rude and always grouchy. She needs professional development and better customer service training. I would not recommend this place to anyone not will I ever stay there again.

A stunning location quite close to Auckland city but obviously not well known. Camping ground has lot of different accommodation options and it tidy and well kept. The managers are friendly and accommodating. It was fantastic to be able to have our dog with us. A nice quiet harbor side location, next time will have to bring the boat.

We didn't intend to stay here, but so glad we did! What a lovely spot, not far from Auckland, but far enough away to think you are in another world! I don't know why more Aucklanders don't go there!! We didn't have the kids with us but it would have been great for kids - large swimming pool, good playground, beach swimming, good facilities and lovely staff. We definitely intend to come back!

Stays Friday to Monday and played golf Saturday, is a nice and close location to the golf course and to the waters edge The camp ground is a little shabby and need a little care and attention, be nice place to stay nice friendly hosts that run the place

We hired out one of the lodges for a large family group. Plenty of bedrooms. We found the double bed mattress didn’t quite fit in the bottom bunks so we rolled while we tried to sleep. View was good and the little park was good for the kids. Very short walk down to the beach.
