My husband and I visited friends in Portland, Maine, then decided to visit up the coast a few days. We loved our visit to Timbercliffe Cottage and Camden in general. It was so close to town, well situated off the main road (and therefore quieter) and with lovely views of the harbor. As with any great B&B experience, it is...

We stayed for two nights in mid-June. Dave and Karen were excellent hosts. They weren't full so they let us change rooms to one with a larger bathroom where we could put our luggage. The view of the ocean from the from porch was awesome. The interior is nicely decorated as befits a very old house. The house is on...

Karen and Dave offer an excellent quality Bed & Breakfast with their historic, but well appointed and comfortable Inn They have gathered a sense of history but presented in a lovely, clean and plush manner, in quiet surroundings with a not-to-distant ocean view. The main road running past did not seem to disturb as the house is set well back...

I only booked one night because my plan was to stop along the Maine coast as I made my way back to Boston over a week. I wished I'd booked longer at this inn because everything about it was welcoming and relaxing. Beautifully decorated and filled with lots of things to admire. The front porch with so many spots to...

We absolutely LOVED this B&B. The owners are amazing and super nice. They have little touches all over the house. Our room the Captains room had an amazing view and lots of room to relax. The bed was very tall and very comfy. Breakfast was a work of art with oatmeal soufflé. We'd definitely return!

Might as well just cut to the chase: Timbercliffe is one of the nicest B & B's I've ever stayed in--extremely comfortable, welcoming, well located, with a rare water view and a lovely porch from which to enjoy it. From the fine quality linens and bakery-worthy treats to the picnic cooler they lent us and the well-stocked guest pantry, all...

Great view, good location, great breakfast. The cookies hit the spot. We were close enough to restaurants in Camden that we walked down the hill, very pretty walk. We also enjoyed the quite of the porch swing. We could not have asked for any better ending to our Honeymoon trip to Maine.

This was our second time visiting Camden and we decided to return to the Inn because we had such a great experience on our fist trip. Everything was just as good the second time around. Great location and an easy walk to downtown Camden. Wonderful attention to detail throughout the Inn and every aspect of your stay. Dave and Karen...

Timbercliffe Cottage was the first stop during our recent vacation to Maine, and our only regret is that our plans included only a one night stay. We loved everything about the inn, from the welcoming front porch, to the comfortable and beautifully decorated rooms, to the very delicious breakfasts (Karen, hats off to you!) and the great conversations we had...
