Unfortunately we only had one evening to spend at this wonderful place. The Hawthorn and its proprietors did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay in the Regency suite (outstanding, by the way). Lisa was an outstanding host and made us feel welcome. After a long day her kindness was appreciated. The Hawthorn is within a short distance from downtown...

A short one-night stay, super nice arrival, upgraded to a better room with jacuzzi and fireplace. Every need attended to, extra helpful staff, homemade cookies, and a great breakfast. Will return in the future!

For the third year in a row, we have spent two nights at the Hawthorn Inn in Camden, Maine. The atmosphere is very relaxing and friendly. Hosts Lisa and Ted greeted us warmly and spent time chatting with us and catching up on the past year's events. We were greeted with a tasty afternoon snack and hot coffee, and we...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay-only one night and would have loved to stay again. Our room had a huge bathroom with a tub perfect for a relaxing soak. It is close enough to walk into town for dinner. Breakfast was lovely-I appreciated that they offered fruit other than grapefruit (which I can't eat) and made me different eggs as I'm...

My husband and I stayed at the inn to celebrate our wedding anniversary and dine at Long Grain (mmm!) Ted and Lisa were so welcoming and kind, and our room (the Regency) was really comfortable and quiet. And the bathtub was phenomenal! Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed here as part of Rockland's Pies on Parade weekend, and we had a lovely time. The Innkeepers really went above and beyond to make sure we had had everything we needed. The room we stayed in was beautiful, with a very comfy bed and tons of natural light. Breakfast was creative and delicious, and the...

Everything was absolutely wonderful! Lisa and Ted pay great attention to detail. There were dietary issues and Lisa made sure we were accommodated at all times with delicious breakfasts and mid day snacks. They were full of suggestions on what to do and where to go. Every suggestion was fun and interesting. We had 4 full days of sight-seeing, a...

Great place for a quiet getaway. Super friendly and accommodating staff! The rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. In a perfect location to walk into town... even on a cold blustery evening! The food and atmosphere was wonderful. I will definitely be back.

Everything about the Hawthorn Inn is wonderful - Lisa's great care for each guest; the delicious breakfasts including coffee from a local coffee roaster; the beautiful Victorian home; the books; the comfortable bed; the convenience of the location, etc. One gets the feeling that every detail that would make a guest comfortable has been addressed.

This is a lovely Victorian inn steps away from the downtown traffic yet handy to everything in a quiet residential setting. Our room was in the main house on the first floor and was tastefully decorated with a comfortable king-sized bed and a modern bath with a large step in shower. The two breakfasts were excellent with a first course...
