Located on the outskirts of Kennebunkport, this quite motel is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a true Maine port town. Just a 5 minute drive from the center of town, the owners will help you narrow down exactly what it is you want to do, being any activity, eating to fishing. The rooms are perfect, and the outside...

We traveled out East for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our two night stay here was a relaxing, pleasant experience just outside of the busy traffic of Kennebunkport. John, this Innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating, always willing to engage in a conversation and suggest things to see and places to eat. The rooms are pretty basic but CLEAN. He bakes...

Need a place to rest my head while volunteering for a fund raiser. This place was recommended by a friend. Lovely, shaded green space in front of the motel. Rooms are simple and small, but very quiet and very clean.Just the kind of place you need for the beach. New bathroom with great shower, plenty of hot water. There was...

"This place is spic and span" was my comment upon entering our room. Got a recommendation from an Aussie couple at breakfast in Bethel to stay here on our trip south and I cant thank them enough! John was great, friendly, and helpful with local lore and suggestions. We felt like neighbors. The area is wonderful and quiet compared to...

Of the mom and pop motels I've stayed at, this by far rates five-stars; in the full continuum of accomodations I'm still rating it a four. John and Debra run a wonderful little place; sparkling clean in the quiet working hamlet of Cape Porpoise, comfortable beds in renovated (but yes, smallish) rooms, lots of good things to have with your...

The Cape Porpoise Motel may be small but it is a gem. John and Deb are the perfect hosts. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need: full fridge & freezer, microwave, TV and nice firm comfy beds. We spent two nights and you could hear a pin drop after 9 PM. The continental breakfast is excellent -...

We stayed at the Cape Porpoise while on our way to Lubec Maine. It is less then 10 minutes from the center of Kennebunkport, situated on a dry, quiet road. This is a plain jane looking motel, and clearly the buildings were not made with amenities in mind, but the managers definitely put effort into making it a comfortable place...

I attended a wedding and stayed at this motel which was close to the church and reception. The motel has 7 rooms and a cottage. It looks rundown on the outside but once you stepped into the room it was very clean and well taken care of. The bed was excellent. I would stay at this motel again as the...

Wonderful property, great owners, VERY clean unit. We stayed in the one bedroom unit that allowed dogs. It was quite dated and very small, but spotless. Even though it was small, the unit had everything needed for a very nice stay. Restaurants, convenience stores arei within walking distance, along with great places to walk a dog. My dog is a...

this spot is perfect for unusual lengths of stay ie. very short, or something not simply in weeks (which is what you need to rent an ordinary cottage); its also very friendly and clean and well located; from here you can cycle quite a ways in any direction ... eg. to the beach or into Kennebunkport, or further ... v.easily...
