Spent four quiet nights at the Inn. Rooms have no TV or WIFI but lovely living room where a nap is not unusual and a TV room that is comfortable. WIFI on first floor. Breakfast is $9 and they will make you almost anything you want. Little bar seats about ten and we sat and talked with the manager for...

Maybe my expectations should have been lower, and the time of year may have played into it, but I was very disappointed by the Castine Inn. Service was a little odd, the room was dingy, the breakfast was unimpressive, and the general atmosphere is mildly institutional. The lights in the hallway stream into the room at night--making it difficult to...

We appreciate your feedback. We are proud to be one of the oldest inns in New England. Our building is old, built in 1898, but we import the finest quality linens and have decorated each room in bright colors. Breakfast is very popular with our guests, as well as locals. We have had many compliments on our offerings and our...

... in a charming historic community! The inn is within a short walking distance to the waterfront and has a pleasant front porch, living room and TV room to enjoy. Our room was very clean and the staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. The breakfast they offer ($9) was very good. Don't miss strolling through their pretty little garden!...

Charming, historical Inn. Steps away from stores, restaurants and waterfront. Great $9 breakfast featuring excellent homemade scones, muffins and french toast. Comfy bed, bright room. Old fashioned claw foot tub. I highly recommend the Inn for a quiet and/or romantic stay. No TV or radios in room. Friendly and courteous staff.

From the outside this inn looks like your typical New England Inn. We stayed in room 1. It has a luxurious king size bed with Fili D'Oro sheets and United Feather and Down pillows. The staff was wonderful and we would get a Keurig coffee and sit on the comfy chairs on the porch. Breakfast was delicious especially the Cranbury...

The garden is lovey. Really enjoyed the porch! The Inn is close to everything. Mary was a wealth of knowledge! The scones were excellent as was the baked French Toast. My husband enjoyed his quiche. The bed was ok but room #20 had air! Would definitely stay there again.

The staff of the Castine Inn was incredible. Mary, Shelly, Nichole...all took huge amounts of time to insure all was well and make us feel comfortable. The breakfasts were perfect and the blueberry jam is the world's best. My husband and I got married in the garden here. It was the perfect size for our small ceremony. We, and most of our guests, stayed at the inn for the weekend. The staff was so accommodating to our party and all of our scheduling. The service at breakfast was wonderful--all of the servers were incredibly friendly. We got one...
