Lovely old B&B. Beautiful country setting but close enough that we walked to downtown Damariscotta in the evening. We stayed in the Northern Belle room with a lovely four poster bed, original wood floors and a large bathroom with shower stall. No TV in the room but when we're travelling we don't care (there is one downstairs in the front... More

I'm sorry my review has offended you. I have been reluctant to respond to you answer, however I've been bothered by it for so log. To start with we haven't been offered granola or other food, not mentioned a slice of ham. No thick slice of ham but 2 greasy links of indigestible sausage. I've been never provided with ice... The owners Mimi and Ray are the best! The bed and the breakfast are so incredible! I have been working in the hotel industry and I finally found the best, welcoming and friendly guest service here. Mimi is a great cook, all her food is organic and everything in the house are extremely clean! Ray is a great man that... More

Reviewing a B&B is a bit difficult as the owners may have a bad day or week, our expectations may have been too high, etc. I will start by saying my wife, grown daughter and I will not stay in this B&B again, and we make frequent trips to Damariscotta, ME. Some parts of this review are specific to the... More

I think God has sent me another sign that I should retire. I think this review is totally unfair and greatly exaggerated. About 90% of my reviews have been outstanding. More

Very nice small B&B. Room was a bit Spartan and it is located on a side street with no views but close to town and Damariscotta Harbor. Breakfast was fruit, juice and French Toast one day and a frittata the next two days. No air conditioning in room which for most of the year in Maine is unnecessary but we... More

We have booked 2 nights in the first week of August and were quite shocked by the price of $200/night. We were in the most expensive room, but there was no air conditioning, no TV in the room (TV in the breakfast, common room is 13"!!!!), soap bar, shampoo or conditioner. No internet! The Wi-Fi listed in the guest book... More

Thank you for your humbling comments. We all need to be taken down a peg or two occasionally. I'm sorry you didn't like the omelet. I'll try to improve it. You were, however, offered organic coffee, juice, a variety of teas, fresh fruit and a freshly prepared entree of "perhaps" one of the three examples listed or one determined at the... More

The gardens and grounds were beautiful, our room and bath were spotless, and we had our best sleep in years on the inn's mattress!! Furnishings were lovely - 'Maine charm' - and innkeeper Mimi M was very welcoming - and an awesome cook! Delicious French toast, frittatas, and muffins, along with fresh fruit bowls and great coffee. A terrific stay!

I loved this B&B. Mimi McConnell, the Innkeeper, is warm and welcoming; the room we stayed in the "Northern Belle," was so unexpected--at least for my husband and myself. First, it's furnished in period pieces, including the exceedingly comfortable four poster bed and the original wood floors, polished and gleaming. The breakfast served by Mimi included fresh fruit and homemade... More

A wonderful find. Extremely comfortable beds, charming surroundings and the most delightful hosts we've ever met at a B&B. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. My family stayed in two rooms and both were large and nice. Highly recommended.

Visited in April with my sister to handle some family business in town. The room was big and comfortable with space to relax, not just sleep. Super comfortable bed (which is very important to me) and well appointed bathroom. The best B&B breakfast I've ever had, too. It was the perfect place to wind down after several long days of...
