This lovely inn set on a beautiful spot was highly recommended by a friend who was there 10 years ago. After the bustle of Boothbay Harbor, this inn in East Boothbay was a welcome respite. The setting, on the water, is gorgeous and there are Adirondack chairs in various places to sit and relax, read, have a drink or just...

We had a wonderful time and especially enjoyed the expanded full menu. It was a real relief to be able to get a marvelous meal after a full day's drive and not have to go into town. This is our third year and hope to see you next year!

We spent 3 and a half very enjoyable days at the Ocean Point Inn during a week-long tour of Maine. Being mid-August the major coastal towns can be quite crowded and touristy yet this location retains a quiet, residential, slow pace away from the more commercial summer activities. (Yet, if you want any of those things, they are a brief...

There are lots of living options at this beautifully situated inn and resort. Fortunately, we chose the Sea Kist Cottage which faced the harbor and provided a magnificent view. Sat on the Adirondack chairs on the front porch watching harbor activity for hours on end! The suite had a separate bedroom, living and kitchen area, a gas fireplace for winter...

If you want to go somewhere that no one will find you and it's quiet and peaceful, I recommend Ocean Point Inn. We visit Booth Bay Harbor every summer and were looking for a new place to stay one night this year. We reserved a room in the "Farm House". Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations. The room was...

If you want to get away from the touristy areas, this is the place for you. The scenery cannot be beat, and the Inn is a lovely place to relax and unwind. The restaurant is excellent - no need to drive into town for a terrific meal, and service is also terrific. Take a long walk around, there is a...

The Ocean Point Inn is a wonderful old school spot. It's been there for decades. Rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The location is unbeatable if you want panoramic views of the ocean and islands, the opportunity to stroll by the sea and pretty easy access (7 miles) to Boothbay Harbor. Our package included a breakfast buffet that included standard...

We can't say how much we love ocean point inn. The views, the grounds, the value are all top notch. We've decided this to be our perpetual home away from home in Maine. Patricia, the bartender is so sweet and all the stuff is great. We love the eclectic layout of the property as well. Guests are quiet and friendly....

This was our second visit to Ocean Point Inn. We love the location and the Inn itself is cheery and comfortable. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Good variety of selections at the buffet breakfast and we enjoyed all our dinners in the dining room. It's a wonderful area for photography (esp. sunset) and we enjoyed long walks early morning...

If you enjoy beautiful water views, Ocean Point cannot be beat but if you are looking for a nice sandy beach to swim at you need to look elsewhere. My wife and I stayed at the Kist cottage which is so close to the water at high tide you feel you are part of the sea itself. Sitting on the...

“The room was very cold on the first 3 blanket night, until I wised up the next day and asked at the office desk about heat. ..which I mistakenly presumed did not exist in this summer facility. Once the manager turned the heat on, the room was as cozy as could be. Someone had also left the bathroom window open before our arrival, and I didn't initially notice this source of cold night air.”

“We have stayed in building HH each time. Rooms large but bathrooms a tad on the small side. But who spends much time there! Balcony so delightful overlooking the bay!!! One of the best "classic old guard" experiences!”
