We reserved a room for a November trip to Eastport, but were also shown The Carriage House out back and offered at the same rate as the room, and what a find it was. Full-size kitchen, gas stove for sitting in front of in the evening with our crackers and cheese, and an outstanding bed, which has to be seen...

Kilby House is the place to stay in Eastport. Greg was a wonderful and interesting house. The house is lovely and full of antiques. We stayed in the bedroom at the front of the house from which you could see the Bay. Breakfast was lovingly prepared.

This is by far the nicest of the B&Bs in EastPort. Greg the innkeeper is super friendly and has tastefully furnished the house with period pieces and wonderful Christmas Cacti. I have never seen such luxuriant plants ever! They must be decades old! Great reading materials in the lounge and parlor with lots of picture books of Maine and Victorian...

This charming property is located in a village facing the water. The town feels totally unspoiled. The house is full of antiques. The rooms, while compact, are clean, fully equipped and extremely inviting. The host, Greg, is very helpful and prepares a hearty breakfast every morning. He can provide valuable information about the area and much of Maine and New...

My husband and I stayed at the Kilby House Inn as the first leg of our circling Maine motorcycle weekend. We were thrilled to see that the house was as it appears on the internet. No negative hidden secrets! We had a second floor room on the front side of the house with an attached private bath. It was so...

We will start this review by saying we take all our reviews seriously and the 3 points are for the room only, so we have to be honest. Our host Greg, the house and decor were an outstanding 5. Please read on..... Our host was out when we arrived but instructions left for us to gain entry. Kilby House is...

The entire home is so light and airy. We had a second-floor bedroom with a queen bed and private bathroom, including shower. The furnishings fit the time period. And the breakfasts are amazing -- delicious and healthy. The house is located a brief walk from the water and a few blocks down the hill to the shops. Greg, the owner,...

We journeyed to Eastport as part of our family drive up the Maine Coast and stayed overnight at Kilby House. Gregg is a warm host who sincerely is committed to his guests having a great experience. The 8:00 AM homemade breakfast was excellent! I highly recommend Kilby's if your travels take you to Eastport.

We stayed at the Kilby House Inn for one night last week and wish it were for a week! The accommodations were very comfortable, decorated beautifully with antiques, and each with private bath. The entire Inn was very welcoming, and Greg had some very interesting pieces, some original to the house and family. It was located close to town ......
