We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Kendall Tavern Inn. Mark and Nancy were warm and welcoming. It was always a special treat that snacks and milk were available for guests. Rooms were constantly cared for, and were spotlessly cleaned. Freeport is an awesome town, and Kendall Tavern Inn is very walkable to the outlets and restaurants. We enjoyed breakfasts... More

My husband and I spent 3 nights at the KTI earlier this month. This is a bed and breakfast made wonderful by the owners, Mark and Nancy. It is a charming place, built in the 1800's, with private baths for every room. It is clean and comfortable and cozy! Mornings with a cup of coffee on the front porch were... More

It's was close to all the shopping in Freeport, and within walking distance which made it just great. The Inn itself..I just can't say enough about Nancy and Mark the Inn owners. From... More

My husband and I stayed while we shopped in Freeport. Mark and Nancy were the perfect hosts, from the warm and humorous greeting to the fresh baked goods (always present and yummy) this was the perfect get away. The entire Inn is immaculate and the food is amazing. We left knowing we would book here again soon and recommend it... More

This was our 4th stay with Mark and Nancy and as before we received a warm welcome from both of our hosts on arrival. The Inn is a real gem located in the centre of Freeport. The accomodations are top notch, beautifully decorated, with very comfortable beds. Nancy is an incredible cook and breakfast is always a delicious surprise. We... More

On our way up to Bar Harbor we decided to stop in Freeport to pay a visit to LL Bean. Looking for a place to stay the night the Kendall Tavern Inn Bed and Breakfast caught our eye. We love old historic buildings, they are so full of atmosphere. We arrived early and received a very friendly welcome. After being... More

Oh man! The food is great. Each morning we were delighted with unique and delicious 3-course meals. The hosts go over and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have a good time. They provide many amenities such as wifi, which was an unfortunate necessity for me since I had to bit of school work on our vacation. The hosts... More

Mark & Nancy run a very warm and charming B&B out of this historical building near downtown Freeport. The Inn is a lovely antique building close enough to all the shopping and dining if you prefer to walk a bit, but not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle so you can have a bit of peace... I enjoyed a wonderful fall weekend in Freeport at the Kendall Tavern Inn. I was in town for a wedding and stayed two nights. My first night I stayed with my girl friends. The host, Mark, was friendly and knowledgeable. We asked to have a fire at night and he was happy to accommodate. I eat a gluten free diet... More

Thank you for the compliments. Nancy really does a fantastic job preparing a delicious breakfast. Good food is an important part of a relaxing stay. It was a weekend full of good food and good friends. Plus you did a terrific job with the fire. I don't think any other guests have had better outdoor skills. I know the bride... More

This was my first B & B experience, and my husband had a last minute emergency and couldn't join me. So I was in this romantic place alone, but I felt surrounded by family. I arrived super late and I called Mark and he arranged everything so I could just walk in and crash. We chatted next morning about how... More
