As compared to the many timeshares I have visited, "Resort" is a misnomer. "Lodge" is more like it. It looks like a renovated 1970s motel that needs to be overhauled again. I could hear other guests talking & sneezing through the lockoff. When they walked, the floor shook. The Country decor was ancient & depressing. Rooms feel austere. The unit...

We recently stayed at this quaint hotel for one night and really loved it! It is a small, QUIET place which is wonderful! We were fortunate to be there when the trees were in full color and we had an amazing view! We stayed in units 7&8 on the upper floor of the lodge which had an adjoining door which...

I absolutely had an amazing stay! The view was absolutely breathtaking. Not only was the view spectacular, the resort was just as great. My husband and I got married on a Saturday and started our "mini moon" a one night stay up in Jackman. I still can't believe how friendly everyone was at the resort. Very welcoming, personable and respectful....

A group of us stayed at the Mountainview Resort over Labor Day weekend. We were pleasantly surprised at the cabin accommodations. It doesn't look like much in the pictures available, but it was really a very comfortable, well-furnished cabin and had every amenity needed and more.

You ought not be disappointed by the accommodations provided. But if you are from an urban area, you might be surprised by what is not provided; and most of the things not provided are because of the location. The Mountainview Resort is in a very well renovated motel, comfortable, clean, pleasant. Our room had a full kitchen. The resort has...

We obtained our lodge unit (sleeps 4 but honestly it's really only comfortable for 2.) Our unit had 1 bathroom, 1 bedroom and a pullout sofa bed, which we didn't use, so I can't attest to its comfort. We took the advice of a previous reviewer and took an upstairs unit. FYI #1: there are no elevators, so all luggage,...

We are a retired couple and have traveled extensively all over the world for over 10 years. Our experience at Mountainview was so disappointing and probably the worst resort we have ever visited. Our booking at this alleged Resort was via a time share exchange with Interval International. We own a time share with Diamond Resorts and used both Diamond...

We managed to wrangle one of the cabins via timeshare exchange during peak foliage season, and we were very glad we did. Here are our observations. The cabins are spacious, clean, well-stocked, and just beautiful inside and out (see pictures). The kitchen was well-equipped, the jetted tub was delightful after a day of hiking, and the large deck was great...

I read all the other reviews and share many of the compliments that are mentioned. We staying in room #6 on the second floor. It was roomy with a separate bedroom with access to the bathroom. The kitchen was stocked for use and all the appliances were full sized. There is a laundry center downstairs and a great indoor pool...

I am so happy that Interval has added this lovely, off the beaten path resort to their options. It is in a fantastic area for people who enjoy outdoor activities or just want to get away from it all. We rented a spacious and pristine 3 bedroom cabin in a wooded area that was supplied with a fully equipped kitchen...
