This was our first trip to Acadia National Park and the Bar Harbor area, and I can't imagine a more perfect introduction to the northern coast of Maine. Our hosts were friendly, genuine, and very helpful. They even printed out my son's bus ticket for him. Breakfast was outstanding, and the room provided the most beautiful view of the bay.... More

We stayed here for one night while passing through the area. The place is very clean and homey and the owners are quite friendly. They cooked an amazing breakfast for us in the morning. This place is run by a great couple who, to me, represent true Mainers: genuine, caring, friendly, easy to chat with and with real character. I have stayed at Capt'n Eve's Eden at least once a year for approx. 20 years and found everything to be as advertised.
