I booked online and provided a note I'd be arriving late. The owner left a key out for me. The room was clean and comfortable. I got a room in the main house, a very nice Faux Victorian building, well maintained. I can highly recommend it over the motels in the area. This will be my goto place to stay whenever I'm in the Lincoln area.

Great room. We stayed in room #20. It was a hike up the steps to get there but worth the space. Nice clean bathroom, walk in shower . It was great having a refrigerator and microwave. However the bed was like laying on bricks!

The rooms we had were large and comfortable, very clean and well appointed. We had to make some last-minute changes in our reservation and they were very helpful and accommodating. We look forward to getting back to Maine and we will definitely stay there again.

Very cute BnB! Charming big rooms with comfy beds, walkable to a local pub/coffee shops. We were on the end room & it was quiet and cozy. You park right infront of your room for convenience. We would definitely stay again! It's a really cute spot.

It's important to keep in mind just what Lincoln, Maine is; a small rural town with a population of less than 5,000 people. As such, you will not find a Hilton or Holiday Inn. What you will find is motels, inns and camps with cabins and camping sites. This Inn is about as good as you will find in a rural Maine community. The price is fair, the rooms are clean and the staff, when you can find them, are friendly! The negatives: The rooms are small, the two beds in our room were very uncomfortable and the staff could not be found in the afternoon! The office hours are until evening, either 8 or 9 pm. But, they could not be found even when standing at the front desk and repeatedly calling for assistance. In the morning it's a different story, they are easily found. It's after about 1pm they seem difficult to locate. Honestly, the uncomfortable beds were the biggest issue for us.

Pretty basic room. But was surprised to have booked a room with 3 beds! Bathroom was tiny but everything worked. Had a surprisingly good sleep. All the basic amenities. Found a couple of creepy crawly things in the bathroom. Good for one night stay if passing thru the area.

Last minute stay for work. The room was very clean, updated and super cute and comfy!!! It is a small inn and very affordable. The “lobby” are is a typical New England feel with wood floors and comfy chairs. I would definitely stay here if you are in the area.

During a road trip around Eastern Maine, my first night was in the Whitetail Inn and Suites. I had a cozy room with a king bed. The room was in the motel annex part of the inn. It had a comfortable chair where I could sit and read, a flat screen TV, small fridge and coffee maker. and a private bath. It was very convenient to shopping and dining options along Route 2. I chose Gillmor's just down the road. A nice family place where I sat a the bar and had a burger. For breakfast, I at at Cindy's Country Kitchen about 100 yards down the road. When I arrived at the Whitetail, my key was waiting for me at the check-in desk. Staffing shortages nationwide, particularly in the hospitality industry, was probably the reason I didn't see anyone at check-in or check-out. But that was fines. I was just there for 1 night at the rate was reasonable. It was very clean and very comfortable and I would stay there again. The reason I only gave it a 3 for service was because I didn't see anyone the whole time.

Under no circumstances should you stay here. We had #4. The bed was so old it creaked every time you moved and was extremely uncomfortable. The room was dingy, old and dirty. Bugs and spiders all over the place including the wall(actually smashed against the wall !!) , bathroom, lamp shade and windows. Bedding is totally worn out and ragged, floors are filthy and stained, no hot water for shower.. even if you let the water run for 5 minutes as the sign on the wall indicates - -towels not as good as my garage rags; thin, worn and discolored. Shocking filth on the bathroom floor when wiped with one of the towels. Go anywhere but here. I'd rather sleep in my car than this dump. No, No, No !!! We left the next morning and will never return.
