Our room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The location was convenient, although not pedestrian friendly (right on state highway with very small shoulders and no cross-walks). The enamel on the sink was chipped, and the A/C fan was nice and quiet. For a "No Smoking" facility, there were a lot of ash trays (one between each 2 rooms). "No Smoking" was posted everywhere, even on the rental units across the parking lot. Unfortunately, we saw people outside smoking, and got the smell of smoke each morning when we left.

We have stayed here at least 4 times and we love it. We never had a problem at all. Very friendly and very nice people running it. Husband won't stay anywhere else when up that way. Love the furniture also.

Room 20 was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, flat screen TV, table and two chairs, bureau and a place to hang some clothes. The sink and mirror were outside the bathroom and I like that. The shower had good pressure without being painful. If I have any complaints at all it would be that when you turn the bathroom light on, the fan also comes on and since we leave the bathroom door open a bit at night so we can see when we get up in the night to go to the bathroom, the fan ran the entire time. It didn't bother us, but it may bother some people. Also, the clock on the microwave did not work correctly and it would not let me change the hour although I could change the minutes. The AC worked well. The price of the room was also very reasonable. They had a book inside with menus of restaurants and that is always a plus. This is not a "fancy" motel and we were not expecting that.

Beautiful room and country furniture. Great, helpful owner. So clean, sparkly! Roomy, fridge and microwave. Great price. Visiting family in the area but wanted privacy. Glad we found this place. We will definitely stay here again.

We came on a whim and wanted to stay near Baxter State Park. The staff was friendly and the room was exactly as we expected for the moderate rate. The beds and bathroom were nice and it was located near restaurants and a store where we picked up last minute necessities.

Very clean and rooms have been renovated and contain a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The most comfortable beds we encountered over the past 10 days. Check in quick and simple. My only complaint related to other guests on both nights. Obviously used by out of town contractors who sat outside the rooms drinking and smoking (butts all over the car park). They weren’t unruly but were loud. On both mornings as (presuming it was the same guys and a woman) they left at around 5:30am they had loud conversations as if it was midday - damn rude and inconsiderate. Despite that I am happy to recommend this motel.

We booked a last minute stay here while traveling through and were not expecting much. We were surprised to see such a clean and well kept motel. The front desk area was clean and organized and the room left us speechless. No dingy carpets and overused bedding here! The decor was very cute, all matching rustic wood furniture pieces & laminate flooring! We are already talking about making this our next vacation spot.

The rooms were very clean and up to date. You can tell the new owners just put a lit of work into this place. Each room had a good working refrigerator and microwave, I didn't the TV. My fell in love with the Rustic looking wooden bed frames. The management was outstanding and even offers an additional military discount/. Just Good people doing there best at running a good fair priced motel and working hard at. Congratulations.

I met my former GF there for a night out and room was clean no smells bed was a little flimsy but ok for the price. It’s near a couple restaurants and Walmart not to far from downtown and near the lakes which dot the area.

Stayed here during the winter when girlfriend was able to free up time from traveling to meet up for a couple days. Room was nice slightly dated but comfortable. Price I thought a little high for the area but not outrageous. Would recommend in a pinch.

I am sorry that you did not find our rooms up to date. We are still in the process of remodeling rooms. We have done many updates, including 32" flat screens in a room, Amish log furniture in all rooms, about half of our rooms have a fresh coat of paint and new flooring.. All our rooms have a coffee pot, microwave, and mini fridge. If you are in the area again please feel free to ask for a remodeled room. We price our rooms competitive with other local lodging.
