We were greeted right upon entry and the door held open when we left. The food was amazing and the owners really took the time to make sure we enjoyed our entire experience. I strongly recommend to go...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at this delightful inn on the Maine Coast. Located in a farmhouse built in 1810, it features comfortable guest rooms and a restaurant run by the French chef owner. We had planned to explore the various restaurants in the Camden area, but enjoyed the food so much that we ate there 3 out...

I stumbled across The Youngtown Inn after reading some great reviews on tripadvisor. My brother and I stayed for 2 nights and it was a fantastic experience. Maryann and Manuel made the stay very enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were treated with a warm welcome. Maryann took the time to patiently explain the area, some visitors tips and all other relevant...

We were delighted to return to the Youngtown Inn, and this cozy restaurant in the mid-Maine countryside did not disappoint. A tasty Duck mousse pate preceded a terrific Grilled swordfish steak entrée. Mrs. Gyr felt the Veal marsala was great. Very adequate wine list and friendly staff. The owner visited the table to assure our satisfaction, which is a nice...

If you are anywhere near midcoast Maine and don't go by for dinner or a stay, you are missing one of the Coast's best little ""hidden gems". Elegantly quaint and unpretentious, this lovingly restored inn also has a great dinner menu and exceptional (and very reasonably priced) wine list. Ask to speak to one of the owners (She's usually working...

This place seemed more out of a movie than reality when we came out for dinner in 2013. That impression remains intact after 2 night stays (with dinners each evening) these last 2 summers. Imagine an inn of centuries-old charm but renovated for comfort, with a couple who love pleasing guests; the husband happens to be an excellent French chef,...

My friend and I chose the Youngtown Inn because we needed a room with two beds and they had a room to suit. As it turned out, we were delighted not just with the clean, comfortable and pretty room, we also enjoyed the location, wonderful dining and the charming hostess. I recommend the Youngtown Inn very highly, one of the...

Fabulous bed and breakfast inn!!! The second you walk in the door you are warmly greeted. We first met one of the staff who treated us like family and then Mary Ann, what a wonderful lady. We felt like we were staying a friend or family member's home. We were in room 3, which consisted of a main bedroom and...

Wonderful inn and restaurant just north of the crowded streets of Rockport and Camden. Manuel and Mary Ann Mercier have a little jewel here. Dinner was excellent, classic french, but guests have the benefit of the gourmet breakfasts prepared by Manuel each morning. Camden State Park is across the street and offers a variety of hiking trails to amazing views...

Checked in with my cousin for a bit of girl time while visiting from out of state. Delightfully charming old farm style home with tasteful decor and clean, comfortable rooms and atmosphere. The owners are warm and friendly, greeting each guest like visiting friends or family. Easy to see that this would be a lovely romantic get away as well...
