We stayed here for a night last week during our drive through coastal Maine. As others have stated, it is a quaint little inn, with very friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Rooms are basic and clean. The breakfast loaves are delicious and the coffee first rate. They really do live up to their motto of providing B&B hospitality with motel privacy....

Ed was great and welcomed us upon arriving. He also started a fire pit for us while we were there. Christine is a mountain of information. She can suggest places for eating and site seeing. They were both awesome hosts and would stay there again. Nice Quaint room with a great view. Would have stayed longer..but vacations have to end....

Great motel "with B&B hospitality"! The location was fantastic - close enough to do and see all, but not so close as to be paying crazy nightly rates. My family and I would highly recommend this location

Good choice in mid-price range of high season in Camden area. Motel style rooms but innkeepers, Ed & Christine run more like a B&B with continental breakfast and are there to answer any questions about the area, dining, etc, including booking reservations. I would agree with prior comment on some fruit being added to morning selections would be nice. Our...

Pleasant couple running a hybrid Motel. They make the effort to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Motel is situated just more than half way to ANP from Portland. For those traveling North or South from there on US 1, it offers a comfortable stop. Breakfast is homebaked and the coffee is good. Rooms are a bit small, but it...

The rooms were very clean and the landscaping was gorgeous. I enjoyed the homemade baked goods but would have liked to see some fruit served. After 3 mornings I was pretty tired of eating sweets. The traffic noise from Rte 1 was bad during the day but after about 9pm it dies down. The biggest complaint I have is that...

The MOTEL is clean and the morning baked goods were very good, however Ed the owner is arrogant. If you stay here and you have an emergency come up. plan on paying for your full stay and hearing from him how tough his life is living in this area. My mother, who is 85 was put in the hospital and...

Our plans on our visit to Camden/Lincolnville quickly changed and we had to find accomodations for 1 night prior to visiting our friends home. Mount Battie Inn was the place! It was charming, clean and comfortable, with a wonderful morning breakfast of homemade goodies and more. Ed and Christine were helpful and accomodating and gave us local tips as well....
