The owner/manager was friendly & accommodating but the place looks a little rough. It would appear to me that they are catering to the workmen/workcrew trade and it seems like there is a lot of wear & tear on the facility. Nothing to look at from the outside but the room was clean and large, somewhat mis-matched in furnishings -...

Please looks a bit rough on the outside and it would work wonders if a leaf blower was used on the parking lot and some flowering hanging plants were put on the building. t The stairwells are on the rough looking side too and could stand fresh paint and carpet. Our room was huge and immaculate with a small kitchenette...

Since my first review, I've been back four more times while visiting family near UMaine. You will not find a better value in the area, nor will you find a nicer and more attentive staff. Milford Motel is truly a hidden gem among the chain hotels that are your option. Thank you!!

Was dated but very clean. Friendly, welcoming people. Quiet. They called after we had checked into our room to make sure everything was okay. Right on the river, beautiful morning view. Nice place to stay for our visit to U of Maine. Slept well.

Pleasant innkeepers, spotlessly clean, nice river view, I will only stay here when I am in the UMO area! Gave us a lovely upgrade to celebrate our 30th anniversary. Thank you! Loved the river view and the pine tree that had woodpecker activity on it!

Nice river views, very clean and comfortable motel. The owner was very nice and accommodating. We were lucky enough to arrive during a fireworks display from the local Indian tribe. I would stay here again on the way north through Maine.

Have stayed here twice while visiting family. Affordable, clean, friendly, quiet and convenient. Don't judge this book by its cover. Excellent place to stay and have as a base to day trip travel around Bangor, Acadia, UMaine. Kitchen area well stocked with dishes, silverware, pots, etc. so eating in as a true option. Great showers!

I happened upon this motel purely by chance online, and I can't wait to go back! I was looking for a budget-friendly place to stay while visiting my son at UMaine and decided that this would be an ideal place, especially because I wanted to be able to cook while I was on vacation. The Milford Motel on the River...

I almost don't want to let you in on this motel. Rooms around Orono are hard to come by during big weekends at the University of Maine. We were very pleased with the convenience of a motel ten minutes from the campus, most reasonable rate, gracious inn-keepers who work very hard, and the room itself. The two story motel is...
