If you're looking to stay in Millinocket, that's probably because you're going to Baxter State Park. And probably, you aren't looking for luxury accommodations. The Pamola Lodge is clean and friendly, affordable and has seen better days. Breakfast is decent. When we arrived, we were afraid that the bar downstairs would be noisy, but it wasn't. In fact it was...

This is a budget hotel which has been here for many many years. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. There is Wi-Fi. My only complaint with this facility is the fact that the rooms themselves are not bright enough. They remind me of the lighting in a typical Motel 6. This lack of brightness is my only...

My wife and I stayed here on one out our many trips to the region. We found the staff friendly and accommodating, and the room clean and fully stocked. The Chinese food right next door was pretty good and it was nice to be able to have a drink in the attached pub. The cost was very reasonable. We will...

Drove up and we thought the place was closed. There is a for sale sign. No place to check in except at the bar. Room had already been charged to card although it says will charge upon checkin. Woman explained that there were new owners and some stuff on the website is incorrect. Went up to 2nd floor hallway which...

Family & I went whitewater rafting during the day. Motel we booked was close to the rafting company so seemed convenient since we needed to leave for home very early the next morning. Also, as this was a last minute trip, few hotel options were available. Unfortunately, we were unable to check-in until well after dinner when it was too...

Nice friendly staff. Decent Chinese food next door. Nice bar, reasonably priced. Very clean, well stocked room. Good free continental breakfast. No fridge but plenty of ice available. Can't beat it for the price.

First, be aware that there is NO POOL at this motel, despite the fact that it is advertised as having one and the picture of the motel that would suggest an indoor pool. So if you want a pool and/or hot tub, there are none. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. However, the door to an...

Located in the beautiful Katahdin area. Near lake and mountain activities. Visiting this area for a family gathering. Reasonably priced, comfortable bed. Clean room, friendly staff, not fancy but good value.

The motel is showing its age. The bathrooms are in serious need of refurbishment, the bedding was ok, but the box spring had questionable stains on it. The breakfast which was included in the cost of the room was an adequate continental breakfast offering belgium waffles, cereals and pastries, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice. The cost of the room...

My boyfriend and I stayed here the night before and the night after we hiked Katahdin. This was the only reasonably priced hotel in the area and while it was outdated, it was very clean. I was also really impressed by the fact that the room came with a mini fridge, coffee pot, iron/ironing board, and blowdryer because I have...
