We arrived at the Jordan Grand, and upon entering the lobby, we saw that the fireplace was not on. The front desk said it is being repaired. Then we saw a notice that the ski lift wasn't running because of wind. So later on we found that the steam room was also not working. The following night the restaurant, Sliders,...

The Jordan Grand is hard to locate and the signage coming into the Sunday River resort is inadequate. The road up to the hotel is 5 miles long and was poorly plowed after a overnight snowfall on the weekend we were there. It was very slippery driving conditions. The hotel facilities were very good for the price but the staff...

The Jordan Grand is newer compared to the other hotel at Sunday River. It is much further away though. There is limited green terrain for the beginner skier. The hotel rooms are dated. The bathrooms are showing age along with their beds. The prices are highly variable. The pool and hot tub are nice at night. The restaurant is mediocre...

Stayed one night including abortive moose hunt: the guide Steve was excellent value though. Definite end of season feel. Room was spacious with balcony. Food in restaurant was not hot. Limited breakfast option. Remote location.

I stayed at the Jordan Grand Hotel for a wedding. I found the rooms to be very clean and nice but the staff to be not so friendly. Our room was as expected (2 queen beds, with a patio on the first floor). The staff from my first encounter to my last was not as great. Over the phone, the...

My husband and I stayed here last weekend to play golf in the area including the Sunday River golf club. Wonderful, friendly staff. Eileen checked us in and couldn't have been more hospitable! Very inviting when we drove up and saw the chalet like architecture. Room on front side of hotel had great mountain view with a balcony. Clean and...

Not knowing the area we relied on RCI to recommend a place to stay in Maine. What a great recommend, we had a very comfortable one bedroom suite with full service kitchen as well as easy access to hiking trails, golf courses and nearby restaurants. We quickly learned why Maine is called the Pine Tree State, the mountains were solid...

By far the friendliest staff we have ever encountered. They went out of their way to answer questions and do the little extras to exceed our expectations. When they found out it was our anniversary, they even brought a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room! The hotel was beautiful, the lobby was enormous, and the room very nice. The...

We stayed here for a wedding that took place offsite. We had a 1 bedroom suite with a murphey bed. We loved the configuration of the room and it was very comfortable for our family. The pool was very nice with a few cosmetic issues in the tile. Workout room had everything I needed. We were there at the very...

Stayed here during the Maine European Motorcycle Enthusiasts rally, July 25-28, 2013. This place really goes out for the customer. The rooms are clean, well appointed. Although there were several events going on with several different groups, the events somehow never seem to get in each other's way. The Northern Lights Café is open at 7am for Breakfast and is...
