This is a very lovely B&B that we stayed in on our way to the Fryeburg, Fair. Great GF breakfast was made for me and my husband had a wonderful regular breakfast. Our room was great. Our room was on the 3rd floor and on the side where the main road is so it is a little noisy at night...

The Angel is very accommodating. We stopped there this year and last year en route to Bar Harbor. Both rooms we had were furnished with fine antiques that reflected the style of this charming Victorian house. Breakfasts were prepared to perfection and special attention was paid to my wife's vegan preferences. In fact, attention to detail was so good that...

My husband and I were in town for a wedding in Kennebunkport and greatly enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect for getting to any of the surrounding areas, the price was very reasonable, the food was great and the hosts are wonderful. We would highly recommend staying at the Angel of the Berwicks!

Wedding guests are always a delight to host because they are always in a festive frame of mind. But, this reviewer and her husband were a particular treat to have with us at Angel of the Berwicks. Yes! Our location is "perfect" for seeing all of the highlights of southern Maine. That's why our inn appears right, smack in the...

This is a lovingly restored Victorian Manor. Large rooms, stunning architectural details and clean clean clean. The breakfast each morning was delightful and filling. Friendly InnKeepers. What more can you ask for?

We are always flattered when fellow innkeepers choose Angel of the Berwicks for their own vacations. Deborah is obviously a first class innkeeper, but she is also a model guest. Deborah and her husband, Jim, took advantage of so much that southern Maine has to offer--kayaking, bike riding live theater, fine dining, beaches and loads of fun.

Sally and Ben are near the top of my list of accommodating hosts. Cheerful, interesting, helpful. If you are an early riser and love sunlight streaming into your room, this is the spot. Breakfast delicious, the house is beautifully restored and has an interesting history. Easy access to towns in the area, without being in the center of tourism.

It's always great to be near the top of a list of accommodating hosts. Thank you, sskp, for your kind words. It was such a delight hosting you and your daughter that we really hope you can return so we can share with you more of the inn's history. There's even a ghost story.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for one night. The house is lovely and carefully restored to its full Queen Anne beauty. The hosts are warm and friendly and obviously proud of their house. We had a suite with a fold-out bed for our grown-daughter. Everything was clean, fresh, and very comfy. Feather pillows on the beds! Lovely! Our...

Kathy is such a perceptive reviewer, even remembering the ingredients of the breakfast. Thank you for taking the time to write and recognizing the effort (especially in cleaning) we put into making each guest's stay an altogether enjoyable experience.

Staying with Ben and Sally in 2011 was magical, our return visit this past week was the same! A few short miles from all of the activity in the Wells/Ogunquit area (which we love!) but such a treat to enjoy a peaceful quiet haven away from the traffic and rush! Charming room, wonderful breakfast every day. Comfortable mattress and no...

"The best gourmet breakfasts I've ever experienced." Now, that's quite a compliment. Thank you Cindy. It's always gratifying to receive high compliments from fellow Mainers. Since Maine's economy is based largely on tourism, Mainers know what good hospitality really is.

Ben & Sally were wonderful hosts! Sally makes fantastic breakfast courses that filled me up until dinner. The Manor is a treasure trove of architecture details and charm.
