Rockmere Lodge is a wonderful B and B on the Marginal Way with access to the ocean, downtown Ogunquit and Perkins Cove. Andy and Bob make your stay the best in well appointed rooms, a delicious hot breakfast and beautiful grounds on which you can relax to the sounds of the ocean. Don’t miss it.

This was or 4th visit to Rockmere. We call it our home away from home in Ogunquit and we'll stay nowhere else as long as Andy and Bob are there. They are two of the nicest people you could meet. I wrote a review in October 2010 and it's just as great today. The only missing ingredient, unfortunately, is the third amigo, Doug, who passed away since our last visit a few years ago.

The house is filled with antiques, paintings, and pictures which we love. The location is perfect for us as we love to walk on the Marginal Way. Andy has taken over the breakfast duties and the food is still just as delicious and healthy...blueberry pancakes one day, egg and sausage on english muffins another...with fresh fruit and yogurt, choice of juices and coffee.

We had planned to make Ogunquit (and Rockmere) a yearly October trip, but life, especially our kids' lives, got on the way. 😁. Now they are grown so we can't try again to make it a yearly trip.

Our Room- 3rd floor with a beautiful view. Bed was comfortable and room/bathroom were nice and clean. The house is decorated in the victorian style and there are many collections in every available space.
Our Breakfast- delicious. We were served french toast and yogurt with fresh peaches.
Hosts- very friendly and informative.
Ogunquit- beautiful town and this B&B is just a short walk from it. We walked into town, along the Marginal Way, at night for dinner and felt safe. Some stores were open until 10pm.
I would definitely stay here again.

Rockmere Lodge is the perfect place to lay your head down to relax at night. One of the quietest places we have been to in recent years, even though it is only minutes from Marginal Way, half way in between Ogunquit and Perkins Cove. The Innkeepers Andy and Bob made our stay so pleasant we had a very hard time leaving .After a very restful night, breakfast was excellent each day , Bob would serve as Andy had the kitchen duty. They asked each morning where all of us guests ate the night before, it was a great way of getting strangers to talk to each other and it gave everyone a chance to listen to the reviews of the different places in the area to eat. We will go back next year for a longer period of time to enjoy the Inn and all it has to offer.
Thank Sheryl M
A Victorian shingle-style B&B, midpoint on the Marginal Way, built in 1899 and restored to its formal glory with antiques and all the comforts you expect. From our Full Breakfast served on our front-porch More over-looking the ocean or in our formal dining room, to the panoramic view from our third floor "lookout room," relax, make new friends, read, nap or whatever you choose. Easy walk to town and Perkins Cove via the Marginal Way. Come see how they used to live in Ogunquit. Less

Not certain about the free meal for yuour birthday (sounds like a good idea!). You do, however, get a full breakfast with your stay.
