I sincerely apologize that you got this impression of our hotel from your phone conversation. As we explained, when a reservation is made with us utilizing a third party, and the reservation requires the guest to change rooms during their stay we feel...More
The Dunes on the Waterfront is a throwback to a time when bungalows dotted vacation areas around the US. But better. The Dunes has an expansive waterfront along a tidal 'river'. At low tide, you can walk across to the spit of sand that is...More
This was our second visit here and we weren't dissapointed. The cabin was nice, very clean and well maintained. We stayed for three nights. Walking distance to downtown and Perkins Cove (approx 2 miles)

The trolley does stop running in October, unfortunately — Columbus Day was its last day. We do have heat in all cottages and guest rooms, and our cottages have working wood fireplaces with individual firewood stacks replenished daily. We're open through October 25 this year and we'll start taking reservations for the 2016 season in early-to-mid December. Thanks so much for contacting us — if we can help out with any other questions, please don't hesitate to give us a ring at 207-646-2612!
