I cannot say enough about how the Abalonia is a great value. Park your car and leave it as you will not need it. It is about a 3 minute walk to the beach (the main beach) and only a couple of minutes to shopping and eating. And, let me tell you, the restaurants in Ogunquit are fabulous. We especially...

We are pretty picky travelers and were not disappointed with the Abalonia Inn. We stayed 4 nights and loved every minute of it - whether it was the wine and cheese by the fire pit or their "Sangria Saturdays" where they serve sangria and munchies by the pool (which is heated and salt water :) ) It took us just...

Abalonia Inn provided a pleasant stay at a reasonable price. The innkeeper was very helpful on sharing highlights of the area. It's an older inn and has a lot of antique style furnishings. The bed was very comfortable but the bathroom was quite small. They offer a continental breakfast near their lobby.

We look forward to showing off in the new year. Thank you for your past business and hope to see you again in...

Our first stay in Maine was very cozy in Ogunquit (beautiful place by the sea). And so was the room. Not too big and not modern but we slept well and for breakfast we had coffee and muffins. We slept on the third floor and there is no elevator but staff was really willing to help. Good stay for one...

The owners were delightful and accommodating, very professional and also with a great sense of humor. Being locals, they were very knowledgeable about the area and offered many suggestions re dining, shopping and local activities which were all spot on. They even arranged for a full moon . . . OK, maybe that part was just luck. The room was charming...

Thanks so much for your review. We are really about creating an experience here at the Abalonia. It is not just about the room or amenities, but the customer service and the little things – like cookies by the pool or wine served by the fire pit. Again, thank your for sharing your experience and we look forward to seeing...

This is a 100+ year old sea-captain's home converted to hotel so it has all the quirky charm you expect. Nevertheless I have to give the overall experience only an average rating. Our room was on the 3rd floor and small because it had over sized king bed which was too big for the space, and then made smaller by...

Thank you for sharing your experience. Completely renovating a 186 year old building brought its challenges but the outcome was worth the effort! We exposed the post and beam construction and wide pine floors, and found two hidden staircases tucked away, and some really neat historical artifacts in the walls. With a ‘can’t be beat’ location, we knew we had...

We were 2 couples and stayed 3 nights at the Inn. The location was excellent, right in the heart of the town, walking distance to everything, shops, restaurant, beach and the marginal way. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. This is a century home, so expect the squeaky floor which adds to the charm of this inn. The host Jason...

Thank you so much for your review! There really are a ton of places to stay in Ogunquit, but some people forget how valuable time is and how difficult it is to get into town with traffic, even in the shoulder seasons. Ogunquit has kept its small town coastal town charm, and we are so proud to be part of...

I was in charge of Girls getaway weekend and I nailed it. Right in the middle of town, walk to beach, walk to stores, walked to Perkins Cove, walk, walk and walk. Never moved the car. Awwww, you are so sweet! Thank you for calling us the best hosts ever! I have to tell you it is the best job ever. This was a fantastic find! The inn is in the middle of everything! Park your car in the lot and walk to everything Ogunquit has to offer. Thank you! We find that once guests discover our location, amenities, and customer service we see the same guests come back year after year. Our goal is to keep prices really reasonable (especially shoulder seasons), treat guests right, and pay for little or no advertising. It seems to be working! A clean, comfortable and welcoming Inn, The Abalonia was a real 'find' - reasonably priced but with all the perks and little touches that can make a stay really memorable and truly pleasant.
