My husband and I spend one night at Anchorage By the Sea. The room was very clean and spacious. Small bathroom with a bathtub but very clean. Nice toiletries. Very friendly stuff. Free hot tea/coffee in the lobby. I booked the room on the first floor which was a mistake because I could hear people walking and talking after midnight...

Great location, on the beach. Had a nice, romantic dinner, by one of the fireplaces, at Portside 360 restaurant. Room was nice, clean. View of the beach, simply amazing. Hot tub was available, but crowded with other guests, and we wanted alone time. Overall a great weekend.

This is one of ur favorite places on the Maine coast. The rooms in the Maine complex are neat, well maintained, and reasonable, especially during off season. They beautiful. Grounds with many kinds of seating which all overlook the Atlantic---absolutely beautiful. It's seacoast border is the Marginal Way, a famous 1 mile walk that offers magnificent views of Maine's rocky...

We were looking for a last minute place to spend the weekend and decided to go to Ogunquit which has always been a favorite place of ours. We love the Sparhawk but it isn't open yet so I spent a lot of time trying to find another place to stay. I looked at quite a few before coming on to...

We spent Thanksgiving up there and ate at Johnathan Restaurant, the food was great. We spent time in the hot tub at full moon by ourselves! Great indoor pool and very comfortble. Local shops are fun, and the area is safe and welcoming!

The Anchorage is a perfect "winter" getaway destination. Priced well for a winter weekend on the ocean. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, the 360 Bar and Restaurant sit in the middle of the hotel with smashing views and the staff was so accommodating. Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. Walking distance to town or to Perkins Cove....

Make your reservations early (months or a year in advance) because this place fills up fast, especially if you want a waterfront room! Last year, we were late getting in and ended up staying at The Towers...still a very nice room but we do prefer oceanfront. Restaurant looks good although we haven't tried it (prefer to go into town or...

Property is very nice. Clean, well manicured, nice view of the ocean. I had a "Shore Lower" room w/ 2 queen beds and a partial ocean view. Room was very clean, and nicely appointed. It was a bit small, but perfect for 2 people. The beds were more comfortable than most hotel beds i've slept on. I could hear the...

This is one of my favorite places! It's a little bit of heaven to me. It's a 7 year tradition that I started with my brother when our mother passed away. A friend brought me to the Anchorage for a one night stay right after my mother passed away. I wanted to be on the ocean, it was the perfect...

We have been frequenting this resort for over thirty years. We spent summer vacations here with our children and now bring our families with grandchildren. The location is spectacular. Great views, walk to restaurants, walk the marginal way to Perkins Cove, swin indoors or outdoors and now the resort has added a fine dining restaurant. Enjoy a wonderful place!
