I stayed in the Chadwick for a planned one night stay with my boyfriend but ended up spending two nights as we just fell in love with Portland and our B&B. if I were to return I would not go anywhere else but the Chadwick. This is not an old fashioned, fuddy duddy B&B, it is a modern, stunningly decorated,...

From the moment I booked our room to the moment my boyfriend and I left after a 2-day stay, I would highly recommend The Chadwick Inn to anyone. You can tell the staff really care about your experience. Scot called me directly upon booking since it was so last minute (very lucky) to thank me for booking since, after all,...

I planned a weekend trip to Portland to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and we could not have been happier with our stay at the Chadwick. The breakfasts were delicious, the bed was extremely comfortable (we didn't want to get up!), and the service was wonderful. The B&B is about a half hour walk from the Old Port, which ended up...

My wife and I just spent 2 days at the Chadwick this past week. The breakfasts are top shelf as are the beds...the two essentials in a B&B. Quiet, peaceful, fresh and clean describe our stay. Scott bent over backwards to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in...

Though we only stayed for one night, it was extremely relaxing. This was the first B&B for the both of us and we are sold. Why stay at a hotel when you could stay at the Chadwick and receive top notch service and hospitality?? The house is absolutely gorgeous, very warm, and inviting. Location isn't bad and it was easy...

A perfect place. Small (4 guest rooms). Nice contemporary furnishings in leather, comfortable upholstery, wood (no Victorian frills or bric-a-brac). Bedroom-size guest rooms, firm beds, modern ensuite baths. (One room has a larger private bath across the hall.) Absolutely superlative breakfasts (feathery omelets with lemon-thyme hash browns, airy strawberry shortcake pancakes with bacon.) Comfortable rooms downstairs where one can sit...

First rate Top Shelf Best in Class A cozy, comfortable, very livable small B & B (four rooms, I think) Victorian in decor but not trop! Bfast out of this world! As were the oatmeal raisin cookies, the anytime snack. Spencer, Matt and Adam are really on top of their game - and are terrific gentleman who can put you...

My recent stay at the Chadwick was amazing as usual. This trip I traveled with out my husband. I stayed in my usual room, the Chamberlain. It was as cozy as I'd remembered. I stayed two nights. Things were very clean and the food was to die for like I knew it would be! My only complaint is that I...

We stayed at the Chadwick for four nights. Scott and Adam were excellent hosts and had lots of information on things to do and places to eat. Our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. There are always snacks, coffee, tea, and water available. We had an amazing breakfast every morning!! The location is good and there are so many...

Very friendly owner, and staff. Very comfy bed. It was a 20 minute walk to the center of town, very easy to get to. A made to order breakfast in the morning was a great personal touch. We enjoyed our stay very much and our next visit to Portland will be spent at the Chadwick. They do have wine on...
