First of all, location. It seems that Portland only has expensive hotels in the port area, a few mid-level brands further out and some Hilton brands near the airport. The La Quinta was the most reasonably priced hotel I could find. So maybe my expectations were too high. Anyway, it's fairly close to the airport and has a shuttle that...

After having a good night's rest in a great roon, we came upon a situation as we were getting ready to leave that gave me some concerns. Those were the way that a what appeared to be a supervisor directing a maid to do things in such a manner that was very demeaning, rude & very harsh. This accrued on...

My kids love to swim, but not in freezing water, but the room was ok and breakfast satisfactory! It's about 10 minutes to the wharf area... No major complaints, but I would probably look for another hotel should I visit Portland again :)

Very nice quiet location, near ballpark, and highway entrances. Portland is a wonderful artsy, eclectic city and offers numerous craft breweries, wineries, and distilleries, as well as, fresh seafood selections.

stayed 3 different nights over a 10 day vaca period; stayed on both the second floor and first. expected noisy parking lot as it also encourages baseball stadium patrons to park there, but no problems (altho this is why they insist on having your license plate # on your registration). very good continental breakfast (including a waffle maker and micorwave)....

We were guests for one night on our way to vacation in Maine and found this hotel to be exactly what we needed. We like Laquinta Inns because we sometimes travel with our miniature dachshund and they accommodate pets.

Great staff. Shuttle very convenient. All my needs were met. Decently priced. Quiet. I would stay here again. Felt very comfortable and the bed was comfortable. Any questions or issues I had were immediately answered and resolved.

Though there were various aspects of the stay that could have been better (garbage in the room, broken furniture, one unpleasant front desk experience), the place looked better after last year's water damage than it had in previous years (we have no stayed at the property three years in a row).

This establishment is convenient to the airport and less expensive than its competition. You get what you pay for. The room was reasonably clean, the staff efficient and courteous, the bed perhaps in need of a mattress (soft and a bit lumpy, but I still slept well), the sink and tub drain extremely slow, and the corners of the room...

This was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is centrally located and is next to the park where the SeaDogs play yet is was very quiet and clean. It was priced significantly less than the other hotels in the area. The room was comfortable and very clean and the interactions with staff were quick and efficient.

“Did not leave one because the room service personnel did not replenish items when they ran out. We had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper, Kleenex and soap, the most essential things needed when staying at a hotel. The Houskeeping Supervisor did give us the items and she followed up with the service personnel buit, even then, they did not do the work asked the next day. I believe she did heer job but others did not.”
