Close to the state theather. We walked even though it was raining. Breakfast looked wonderful. My fiance said it was fantastic and was happy I wasnt up to eating mine, so he got both. Leo was very pleasant and helpful and the place was beautiful.

Just returned from a 2 night stay. Beautiful inn and room. Patti met us at check in and was very knowledgeable about the surrounding restaurants! 3rd floor room 6 was very nice and quite. Has bathroom outside the room but it it's own little private hallway. Bedroom door closed off the hallway which was nice as the next rooms bathroom...

We made reservations only a week ahead and could only secure a room for Thursday night, they were booked all weekend. How I wish I had booked earlier. The inn was just perfect. We had room 6 on third floor and it was spacious and bathroom was quite large. Leo even carried my bag up! The breakfast was fabulous! Fresh...

Our small group of ten gathered at the Inn on Carleton for the weekend to celebrate a family wedding. Leo and Patty could not have been more accommodating. They helped make the intimacy of the ceremony special and unique. The rooms were lovely with updated bathrooms. The daily breakfasts were an event, with homemade granola, fruit and yogurt and a...

We stayed at the Inn on Carleton for one night, we wish it could have been for more than one night! The house is absolutely beautiful and the Innkeepers were gracious. There were a lot of thoughtful little touches in the room, including a white noise machine, fall themed details and Dove chocolates. The Innkeeper gave us dinner recommendations and...

We stayed at the Inn at Carlton on a short vacation to Portland. Because we called the night before, they did not have the same room available for both nights. However, they were very accommodating, switching our luggage to the new room when we were out during the day. The little details, such as Halloween themed stickers on the toilet...

This was our second visit to the Inn on Carleton and it impresses as much the second time as the first. The rooms are full of thoughtful amenities, gorgeously decorated in turn of the century style and the clientele is almost always cosmopolitan. The breakfasts are scrumptious, served in two courses, fruit and a sweet bread, then a savory protein....

Stayed two nights in Room 1, second floor. Big room with windows to the front of the house. Quiet street here, no problem to leave the windows open at night. On site parking was nice.
