Great neighborhood and close to downtown Portland . The breakfast was wonderful, good food, small plates with a lot of choices. Met my need for healthy and nutritious. The decor is bold and interesting.

I have stayed here four times over the past 20 or so years. After reading a review many years ago in the Washington Post I booked a room for two. From start to end our two days were perfect at the Pom. Our room was beautifully decorated with flair and taste and the breakfasts served in the a.m. were all...

Although we’re thrilled that you’ve enjoyed many lovely stays with us, we’re disappointed to hear that your latest stay was not up to your expectations. We do hope that you made the managers aware of any concerns during your most recent stay, as they are ready to address any situation that arises while you’re on site. You mention staying this...

We stayed for one night at the end of our 2 week trip to Maine July 2015. The young couple inn keepers were friendly, helpful and wonderful chefs in the kitchen. Every detail about this hotel was classy, fun & elegant all at the same time. There are endless works of art to discover around every corner. The rooms are...

The Pomegranate Inn served as the beautiful setting for my fiance's birthday. The room was perfect, bedding was comfortable, fireplace was cozy, and breakfast was AMAZING!! We will definitely come back here again. Some other reviewers noted peeling paint and other things that weren't "perfect." To those reviewers I say - if you want cookie-cutter perfection, try a chain hotel....

The Pomegranate Inn will be our home away from home in Maine. Everyone who works at the hotel is charming, helpful, friendly and fun. All the rooms including the public rooms are creative and comfortable. Loved the availability of treats, tea and coffee always available in the Dining Room. The neighborhood is charming and the street parking is no big...

I recently lost my husband and wanted a respite for a few days to get away from everything. The Pomegranate Inn allowed me to immerse myself in total quiet solitude! I lost myself in the beauty of the magnificent art and books. The whole Inn is just so welcoming. The breakfast each morning was so delightful and presentation was equisite!...

The Pomegranate Inn is a solid choice for leisure travelers looking for some personality and relaxation in Portland, Me. The inn is essentially a bed & breakfast managed by the small-property Lark Hotel group. It's a bit of a hybrid. In its favor: Charm, personality, quiet, intimacy, thoughtful breakfast and refreshments. The trade-offs: It costs the same as a four-star...

We’re happy to hear that you found our inn to be both charming, quiet, and intimate! We’re glad that you had pleasant interactions with the friendly and helpful staff and that you enjoyed the breakfast selection. Our hotel does contain antique and vintage-style furniture, but that’s part of the charm that makes the inn what it is. We would like...

My boyfriend and I stayed at this Inn for one night, from Saturday to Sunday. There was only street parking, but thank goodness we were able to park there for free since during the week it's only 2 hr. parking. They really need to make a lot for Inn guests. When we entered the Inn, there wasn't anyone there to...

We’re disappointed to hear that you did not enjoy your stay with us. As we’re an urban inn in a historic district, there is no opportunity for a parking lot, however, on-street parking is rarely an issue. The neighborhood is far from sketchy - it’s very safe, and in a beautiful location on the West End of Portland surrounded by...

We stayed here for two nights and fell in love! The decor, the delicious breakfast, all terrific. The young innkeepers were absolutely welcoming, helpful and gave the place a warm and relaxed vibe that we loved. Location is superb - a quiet and beautiful neighborhood but easy to walk to all the action! Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed at the Pomegranate for our anniversary and we loved it! The faux painting in the living room, the hand painted wall in our bedroom and so many other really lovely and different touches made this a one-of-a-kind experience. The innkeepers were very attentive and breakfast was gourmet and delicious!! We will be back!
