Off season, the price is right for being right on the beach. The rooms are clean, albeit a little dated. Shades could be a little darker to block out light from the parking lot and you can heat people on occasion through the ceiling or walls, but I really have no major complaints. This was the second year we stayed...

Senior citizens and those who like quiet motels(I DO) WILL have a pleasant stay at the Holiday House In Scarborough ME. It's a basic motel with no "extras" , yet it is only about 300 feet from a beautifully white sandy beach . It is easily accessible to Portland as well as OOB. Rooms do need to be given some...

The best thing about this hotel is its location right on the beach, or rather, in the dune grass of Grand Beach which extends all the way from Pine Point in Scarborough past the pier in Old Orchard to Ferry Beach and Camp Ellis in Saco. You could walk for miles on the wide, sandy beach. This is not the...

We needed a place close to friends and in the summer Old Orchard is booked and pricy. So, we found this spot in Scarborough. It has a common kitchen, the thing to note is that it closes at 8 pm. So, if you take dinner late... Or want wine and cheese on your front/room stoop, one must do all kitchen...

First the door open's in wrong directions if you have the room at front of house, when you walk in you walk right into a dresser, I get the decor "old fashioned" but terribly done, it felt runned down, the bed was horrible, no coffee to be found you pay for the beach only, thats it....Looked forward to my mini...

This inn has a great location on the beach just north of Old Orchard Beach. My husband and I enjoyed the beach tremendously.and witnessed a wonderful sunrise from our room. The inn is old-fashioned and quirky in a charming way. The breakfast was unremarkable but good enough. One of the allures of the area to us is the fact that...

Bathroom floor was dangerously slippery...when dry! Linens not clean & not a blanket to be found. Door lock very, very difficult to both lock & unlock. Breakfast consisted of partially thawed muffins & sour juice. NOT a pleasant stay.

The Holiday House is a beautiful inn on the Pine Point part of the beach near Old Orchard. The establishment is made up of an inn in front and a hotel wing in the back. The owner is very nice and staff helpful and friendly. Prices to stay there have gone up though and upkeep hasn't followed. The rooms are...

We just spent a weekend at this quaint inn that was easily accessible to Old Orchard Beach and all the amusements. While it is a bit of a walk (but doable), it is completely separate from all the noise. The rooms are...rustic but very comfortable and clean. The Inn rooms have a great breeze, good ocean view, and waves that...

2nd visit. The last time, I stayed at Holiday House was in 2011. I happy to say our 2nd stay at Holiday House exceeded our expectations as did the first. The location is perfect. The access to the ocean and beach is excellent. The Inn has a wonderful place to sit out and view the ocean. I cannot say enough...
