If you're looking for a comfortable place to stay, with delicious, made-to-order breakfasts and friendly, attentive hosts, Homeport Inn is the place for you! It's a converted sea captain's house with restaurant/pub attached. The grounds include a deck, gardens, and proximity to the water. There is private, off-street parking, too. The decor is quite lovely; mostly antiques and period pieces... More

We had to cancel a paid reservation a year ago and were allowed to rebook it for this year without additional charge. Then we got a call reminding us of the booking...we forgot to write it in our new year's calendar...and they once again allowed us to rebook without charge. We arrived late and one of the owners checked us... More

The pictures are very misleading. The outside of the inn was very unkept with dead plants and spiderwebs in the outdoor lights. We were greeted with a locked door and had to call to get them to open the door. The proprietor was very unfriendly and we certainly didn't feel welcome. We retreated to our room to watch television because... More

There are not enough adjectives to describe what a magnificent place this is! The rooms immaculate & luxurious. The 2 couples who own it are so friendly & helpful. Drinks & the best ever lobster mac n cheese just a few steps downstairs at the Mermaid pub they also run. Made to order breakfast! Awesome omelet & blueberry pancake. Definitely... More

Typically I stay away from B&Bs because I feel like I'm sitting on somebody's lap or they're dirty. But not the Homeport Inn!! Clean, clean, clean. Not a speck of dust to be found anyplace. I got new fluffy white towels every day. At first, all I noticed was the antique furniture and the lovely rugs. "I can do without... More

I only stopped in here for one night, but it had been fantastic! It's an historic home that is extremely well preserved with beautiful antique decor and a charming look with modern comforts. I stayed in a Queen room with a shared bathroom, which was totally fine, plus I had my own sink in my room. The owners are very... More

We truly were fortunate to spend two nights here at this very beautiful Inn. First night was in room three and the bed was so incredible comfortable and roomy. The decor was historically spot on and nice touches all around the room reminded you of the care and quality put into it. The restroom was down the hall, but there... More

Owners were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great as was the restaurant on location. We were disappointed with the room. For the price, we felt it should have been something special. Bed was uncomfortable, decor was old and tired and ac unit was very loud.

We stayed at this B&B. The place is magnificent, filled with history. The breakfasts are incredible from freash suits, yoghurts, eggs, etc home made muffins, pancakes- you name it. Made to order the night before. Owners are most accommodating and kind. Will return in the future.
