An old-fashioned style motel with old-fashioned charm. We stayed at this motel while attending Fiber College in Searsport. Not only was the location convenient, the motel sponsored a special breakfast dish for Fiber College folks. Breakfast were lovely as they were held in a sunny porch with different breads, yogurt, quiche squares, and fruit. Juice and hot drinks were also... More

The room was the cleanest motel/hotel room that I have ever stayed in. The room was a nice size. The heater worked just fine. The location was extremely convenient to all of mid-coast Maine. There were lovely state parks in the vicinity. The breakfast was very nice, in a pleasant sun room with fresh Danish and muffins and a nice... More

This motel is really quaint. The rooms are clean and many of the walls are lined with pine which makes them quite cozy. The motel has a free breakfast each morning with a large selection of cereals, oatmeal, english muffins, muffins, and donuts. My one complaint about the breakfast is that the the room must be humid as the cereal... More

Our family of three originally booked one night at the Yardarm Motel. My wife had stayed here with her family decades ago. The location was perfect for all the things we had planned to do on our trip that we extended our stay to three nights (before we arrived) After arriving, we enjoyed it so much that we extended our... Quaint, although a bit run down roadside inn. Clean and comfortable. Nice lounge chairs out front. Best part was the coffee and cereal bar for breakfast (surely a hit with the kids and a nice change from stale muffins). Price a little high, but its the high season. You can also walk to things on route 1.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Clean, cozy room that was just what we needed to relax in for the night! Owners were very accommodating, leaving our room unlocked and with the lights on since we would be arriving late. Nice breakfast area with hot coffee and standard continental breakfast fare. Would not hesitate to stay here again!

We stayed here in July and it was wonderful and cozy. The room was clean, quiet, and very roomy. The window unit took a while to cool off the room, but it was a rare 90 degree day in Maine. The breakfast room was amazing. It had a lot of choices, great coffee, and it was a sunny room full... More

We originally planned on staying for 2 nights at the Yardarm. The excellent location, reasonable price and friendly owners made us decide to spend 2 extra nights. We received a generous discount for staying more than two days. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable, and we loved the screen doors. It was nice to enjoy the fresh Maine air... More

“Rooms with higher numbers are closer to the office... the lower the number, the farther away you'll be! The rooms are backed up against the woods.. open the window for a nice fresh breeze without using the AC.”

“We had the room right next to the office and thought it wold be loud, but it was really quiet. It does not face the road so that may cut down on the road noise seeing as it is quite close to the roadway and lots of large trucks use the road.”
