The best kept secret in Bangor area. I'm really happy to discovered it. The room is very beautiful and to sleep in the bed made me feel like if I was on a cloud. A place that I recommend warmly. And the owner is a real gentleman.

This is a gem. I stayed here this past weekend with my son and his baseball team. The rooms were clean and the pool was fabulous. The ower, Andy, was gracious and went out of his way to make our stay the best. If we need to stay in the Bangor area again this will be where we land!

Stucco Lodge is great! We stayed there while attending a youth baseball tournament in the area, and it was perfect. Well located, very clean, great pool. And the hosts are incredibly friendly. We will definitely stay here next time we’re in the area!

Stayed on 5/6/22 and 5/7/22 for UMO graduation ceremonies. This hotel was by far the best I've stayed in when I've traveled to the Bangor area. The room was large, clean, and fresh, and the beds were so comfortable I had to pull up the sheet to see the brand (top-rated Sealy pillow top). The hotel was booked solid for graduation weekend, but we didn't hear a sound from any other room nor from the outside. The wifi was easy to sign in to, strong, and consistent. There is good water pressure and - FYI - the water is VERY hot! The windows open for fresh air if wanted (it was still near freezing at night so we kicked on the heat instead). There is a fire pit area to sit around plus a couple seats outside your room if you want to sit outside. Due to COVID, there is no coffee maker in the room, but I'd brought one just in case. As it is still considered "winter season" the pool is closed and was being resealed & landscaped during my stay (still too cold to swim!). This is a "mom & pop" motel and they are very proud of their business and it shows in the comfort detail. Andy is wonderful and funny, and he makes sure your stay is the best. Considering it was an event weekend and the close proximity to the university, he could have charged an astronomical rate for each night but he didn't; his rates were the lowest in the Bangor area. I also found I can get a much better rate directly through the hotel than through the booking site, which is what I'll be doing very soon. Thank you, Andy, for a great weekend stay! P.S. maybe a bigger trash can next time? (inside joke!)

The owner who managers the place is super friendly and wants to do whatever he can to make it so. The room was recently redone and I had a lot of space. The bed, sheets and pillows were very comfortable and I slept great. The bathroom was fine with a tub along with the shower - not just a stall. Towels were fine. There is a small fridge. He has coffee and real donuts in the morning if you want any. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

This is as advertised. Close to everything, but set apart in a much nicer residential area. Very quiet. Big, comfortable rooms, great owners. Everything has been updated. Would definitely stay here again.

We needed a last minute place to stay on our way to Bar Harbor ME and my mom suggested Stucco. I am so happy we decided to make a stop here! The staff is wonderful and friendly, they really make you feel welcome. The room was very clean and put together nicely. The beds were comfortable with enough pillows and blankets. I will definitely be staying here when we come back to Maine!

We are from Wisconsin and stayed at many hotels over a 6 week vacation, Sept 2019. So glad we ran across this place when fall hotels in Bangor expensive and booked. This property is very quiet and secure, the rooms are all upgraded and comfortable. The owners are the friendliest and most accommodating of any hotels we've stayed at. They know what they are doing. They have a small continental breakfast which is just fine.

Stayed at the stucco lodge twice this fall while motorcycling around the US and both stays were the most memorable of the entire trip. The property is very quiet and secure, the rooms are all upgraded and comfortable. The owners are the friendliest and most accommodating of any hotels I stayed at.

Loved this place! Such INCREDIBLY friendly owner operators (both husband and wife!). The rooms were freshly updated, with new and tasteful carpet and with sylish granite shower/bath. Really a great value for the price, and not more than 8-10 minutes from a really cool and vibrant downtown/riverfront area, full of micro breweries and fun shops.
