My wife and I have vactioned at " MainStay Cottages" for 12 years and the stay gradually increased to a one month stay. Pearl and Roger Barto, our hosts are knowledgeable of the area and Pearl is extremely helpful to offer dinning and attraction information. Bar Harbor Ferry is a few steps away from our cottage.

My husband and I recently spent three restful nights at Maine Stay Cottages. Our cottage was named Little Cranberry. It was super cute and super neat. It was basically one room but was perfect for the two of us. It had a well appointed kitchen area, two comfy reclining chairs that faced a big picture window with a view of...

We stayed in the Crow's Nest toward the end of June for 3 days. This is a second story room over the main house with a small balcony. We enjoyed the view of Henry Cove and especially listening to the tide come in. we could see Mark Island Lighthouse in the distance. The other three cottages were below us going...

The Boathouse was recommended by our son and it did not disappoint us. The uniqueness of the cottage is what attracted us once we saw some photos. The Boathouse is small but adequate for the two of us...AND it is over the water...awesome. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer and enjoy the deck in the warmer...

This is a MUST GO place when seeking an authentic taste of coastal Maine! We traveled in a motorcoach. Pulled into a very level site, with electricity, water and sewer. Each site (I believe there are 10 sites, total) has a front row seat looking at the bay. The sunsets were WONDERFUL! Amazingly beautiful! Exceptionally kind hosts! When we clearly...

We stayed in the Ledgelawn Cottage, which looked to be the biggest. Very spacious with sofa, lazy boy, kitchen table/chairs, comfortable bed, dishwasher and washer/dryer. There was a nice size deck that overlooked the harbor with comfortable deck chairs. Quiet location, not far from downtown Winter Harbor, restaurants and grocery store. Pearl and Roger, the owners, were helpful with local...

We have been to Acadia almost every year for ten years for its majestic views and variety of activities. However, this year we wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor and have a quieter experience. We found it at Pearl & Rogers'. We stayed two nights at the bigger cottage and one night at the...

We just spent a lovely night in the Crow's Nest which is an appartment with a queen bed and small bathroom. It is clean and tidy and comfortable. There are other cabins that are larger and available for longer stays as well as a small RV park. The owners are wonderful and friendly and we will certainly return next year...

We spent two nights here in the Boathouse Cabin. Great place! Terrific views and very nice on-the-water accommodations. If you want or need a place to relax this could be it. The cabins are far enough apart that you really feel isolated, and they overlook a beautiful Maine cove. The shower stall is a bit small, but the water is...

The spot are close together which could be a problem except the views and area are beautiful I would recommend you try it if in the area. It is on the "Sleepy" side of Acadian National Park and only a few minutes away. It is about an hour to the main site and Bar Harbor. All hookups are new and...
